Tropical Storm #Marco has begun weakening due to shear, with max winds now down to 60 mph, and Hurricane Warnings have been downgraded to Tropical Storm Warnings in Louisiana. However, dangerous storm surge flooding at the coast and heavy rainfall is still expected. Be safe today

Precisely what the 06Z GFS Ensembles show, just got to iron out the details and when it begins the more north-western turn in about 2 days.

Recon is in Laura and having a hard time finding the center.

I like Rob Krieger but him out by the silver slipper reporting on the weather with the sea oats barely moving was pathetic
Saw that
Surprised he didn’t gave a mask

I don’t understand how they say this thing is moving WNW at all. It moved 0.1N and 0.8W in 3 hours. That is moving about 277 degrees or just slightly above due W. Each of the plots on the track have it moving more NW by now. This thing has to be taking longer to make the curve then they thought and heading further W

One thing is for sure with this then, here comes another move east

Tracks are coming into alignment on Laura. West Louisiana
I sit here this morning on the dock and it’s delightful. I fully expected to wake up to a gray sky with rain whipping through but it is downright delightful. Cool and breezy like a fall morning. I really could use the rain too

Lots of talk on other sites and on twitter by Mets that UKmet has been best performing so far and has Laura going way west along with latest euro ensembles

Literally the definition of west north west

After being devoid of deep convection the last few hours, storms are starting to fire off again now that the center is over water.
