New to the Northshore. When do they usually close/restrict causeway traffic? If at all.

#Marco is moving through the Gulf of Mexico and is very near or at Hurricane Strength, with max winds of 70-75 mph based on recon. The storm is doing battle with wind shear, and is unlikely to get significantly stronger, but a hurricane warning is now in effect for Louisiana.

short of this: flip flopping going to happen until it clears cuba but a southerly track definitely seems like it would open up a westward trend

I didn't say everyone did, but I know people that swear by him and can't stand KLFY. Blows my mind.

A while back when there was a tornado warning and they were going to Rob and cutting off the finale of some show, people were praising Rob in Facebook and telling them to ignore the people batching that he was ok instead of the show...lol!

Levi said while they didn't appear to find a center, it looks to him that it came off of Hati just west of Port AU Prince and thinks it might stay south of CUba now.

While #Laura pass directly over Hispaniola overnight, the storm is stronger this morning, w/ 50-60 mph wind on its north side. The pressure at Port-au-Prince fell to 1004mb a few hours ago. This indicates a robust circulation that will survive until it reaches the Gulf of Mexico.

Think a 2 is almost guaranteed. Question is 3 or 4 at this point.

How far west does she look to be going at this point (I realize change will happen)? Texas west?? Or still LA/TX border west?
