Even less…the “mighty” Port is all smoke and mirrors anyway. It’s all cruise ships now.
Gulfport is about to surpass them. Mobile has doubled them.

I could be wrong, but I haven't seen any list with Mobile or Gulf Port higher than New Orleans.

Depending on the metric, from what I've seen, the Port of New Orleans is ranked anywhere from #15 to #2.

I take it you don’t realize there are 200+ river miles of port facilities encompassing the port of New Orleans, the port of Baton Rouge, the port of plaquemines, and the port of south Louisiana. Add them up and there isn’t another port in the country that comes anywhere close

Scoot with the hot take…

“It doesn’t seem like she would be fun to go out and have drinks with.”

“I’ve been out with a few women like that.”

For better or worse, it no longer requires that many people. A town about the size of Morgan City could support "The Port of New Orleans."

First off the Port of Morgan City cant support any vessel that drafts over 16'.......they cant even support deepwater O&G Vessels. Whoever made that comment is a fricking idiot.

Fake news

Some one has never been on the river south of New Orleans . Most of the grain coming from the Midwest being exported goes through there. Hint- it is an insane amount
