I could be wrong, but I haven't seen any list with Mobile or Gulf Port higher than New Orleans.
Depending on the metric, from what I've seen, the Port of New Orleans is ranked anywhere from #15 to #2.

I take it you don’t realize there are 200+ river miles of port facilities encompassing the port of New Orleans, the port of Baton Rouge, the port of plaquemines, and the port of south Louisiana. Some one has never been on the river south of New Orleans . Most of the grain coming from the Midwest being exported goes through there. Hint- it is an insane amount
