Our traitors in the senate went to visit zelensky to get their cut of the money.

Posted this on the Political Board but will do so here now, it's nothing unusual to have these visits, they are good for all sides.
And to say that war is fake or overblown or not happening because it is at least somewhat safe to travel is nonsense.
Bush went to Iraq. Freaking LBJ went to Vietnam during the Vietnam war for Chrissakes.

Another case of your stereotypical redneck who's never left the country, if not their state, and suddenly they're foreign policy experts because they slurp up what the RT feeds them.

You're right centinel. I have lived there for 30 years now and the lack of knowlege frustrates me no end.

I know this is pretty typical Russian behavior and they do it to us several times a year off the coast of Alaska, but given the situation anyone you military baws feel is more likely something happens one time over Finland or another European country? EU country shoots down the Russian?

I look back on when I boarded that flight at Dulles en route to Kuwait City, leaving the US for the first time sixteen years ago, and how I viewed the world...compared to now, having lived in four countries, visited close to thirty, and spent six years working directly with quite a few European and Middle Eastern militaries and civilian populations.
To say I was naïve prior to leaving the US, even after a BA and MA in Political Science focusing on Foreign and Security Policy, is an understatement. It's one thing to learn these subjects in an academic setting. It's quite another to live them for a career.
My academic learning taught me why this war is so important geopolitically. Having worked with and shared meals with Ukrainians made it hit home at a practical level.
Strategic vs. Tactical, if you will.

Shut the frick up and pay up tens of billions of dollars to the most corrupt country in Europe without any kind of oversight into how the money is spent. Did this thread vanish from the board?

Feel free to provide evidence of this that does not involve the Russian Ministry of Defense, RT, or QAnon.
Oh, and also feel free to detail how much time you've spent outside the US interacting with other parts of the world. Let's see if my theory stays true.

The most corrupt country on the continent is Russia. Ukraine is ranked 122 on the Corruptions Perceptions Index and Russia is ranked as 136. LINK
Now go back to RT or TASS or dumbasses4maga.com or toostupidtounderstandwhatamerica1stactuallymeans.net and get a better talking point.

Putin allegedly has leukemia. I know as an MD I am not suppose to root for cancer. However I am rooting for cancer and I am rooting for a very painful treatment course for Vladimir the Not So Great.

Interesting take on why Russia's Army in Ukraine might collapse sooner than expected.

And in many places the Russians look overextended. It’s very easy, for instance, to cut the coastal link up the Russians have created between Donbas and Crimea.
So, if skilful, the Ukrainians should focus on creating this fear and panic amongst the Russian forces—that way they are likely to engender complete collapse amongst them.

How much of the legendary Ukrainian corruption is directly attributable to the fact that Russia occupied/controlled Ukraine for the entire 20th century and has had its stooges trying to proxy rule it since then?

That’s a real shame. This thread has stayed remarkably on point, with minimal flaming, and provides solid coverage of what is functionally the first peer v. peer war of land conquest since WWII (apologies to Iraq v. Iran, we hardly knew ye).

I know this is an old post I'm referencing, but as a M1A1 and M1A2 tank crewmember for over 20 years, I enjoy following armor tactics and battles.
It's hell. Maybe not as much in an IFV, but in a MBT, a knife fight can be very disorienting to tank crews. 4 guys all talking on the intercom and 2 radios full of traffic along with the sound of a 120 mm cannon, 2 7.62 machine guns and a 50 cal it is chaotic. As a driver you can't hear commands from the TC, as a gunner it can take a minimum of say 4 seconds between main gun engagements is about enough to make a huge pucker factor.
In a platoon (4 tanks) upon contact, it takes all 4 crewmembers on each tank to execute their duties. Action right or left depending and start reigning hell. But that all goes out in a knife fight. It's pop smoke and reverse to keep the front slope at the enemy and ty t find an IV line or cover. You don't want to go forward because you can overrun the smoke.
I didn't watch the video in question, so I am not speaking to the actual video. But IF your tank is operational, you are going to fight your tank and Death Before Dismount.
