Desantis will be a nice improvement from him, in my opinion.

pretty much stated my opinion word for word. I want desantis or rand paul.

the whole jumping on thomas massie for him wanting to follow the constitution on the vote for the first covid spending bill was weird as frick for so called conservatives.

i mean god forbid that a congressman do his job and follow the constitution and require a vote on the largest non budgeted spending bill in the countries history. god fricking forbid it because daddy trump said he was bad for doing it.

almost every poster on the PT board showed their true colors that day. frick em.

Why do you think the MiG deal was on full speed and then just stopped in it’s tracks overnight? According to my sources, the MIGs are just a distraction. There are 70 Ukrainian Air Force pilots getting expedited training on F16s right now, Just kidding

Ukrainian Air Force @KpsZSU We have not received the tools we need to defend our sky and achieve victory. In the sky, the greatest need is for fighter jets - F-15s and F-16s of the fourth generation or higher would be sufficient; ???? pilots can learn to fly these with just 2-3 weeks of training. (12/16)

Damn I was just kidding last week when I suggested that. Apparently the Ukrainian Air Force had the same idea.

This can't be good.

quote:

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he had fired two top Ukrainian security officials whom he accused of being "traitors."

In a late-night address on Thursday night, Zelenskyy said that the chief of Main Department of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Andriy Olehovych Naumov , and the head of the SBU in Kherson, Serhiy Oleksandrovych Kryvoruchko, had been removed from their positions and stripped of their titles.

He described the officials as "antiheroes" and said: "Now I do not have time to deal with all the traitors. But gradually they will all be punished."

"Those servicemen among senior officers who have not decided where their homeland is, who violate the military oath of allegiance to the Ukrainian people as regards the protection of our state, its freedom and independence, will inevitably be deprived of senior military ranks," he said ."Random generals don't belong here!"

Ukraine could make the same argument that Russia makes, that both populations are just a single people and should have a single unified government. The location of that unified government in Kyiv would be just as legitimate as the claim that it should be in Moscow. Location doesn’t matter so long as it is within the geographic borders of the unified country.

Historically?

The principality of Moscow turned on the Mongols and defeated them. Their right to rule was established militarily.

That was the basis for Russia’s historical dominion, alongside the Tsars marriage into the Byzantine line.

It’s just power though.

So basically what you are saying is Ukraine's military should go take not only the city of Moscow but their women too just like they did to the mongols. Kind of a bold move but not a bad idea

Russia will be weak, beat up, demoralized, and easy to defeat in their retreat.

IMO ANY Russian military or military support target is fair game for Ukraine no matter where it is.

Yeah when I saw the news a while after that attack and saw that tons of people were up in arms about it I was wondering what the big deal was. If they have Intel that there is a fuel depot supplying Russian forces, why wouldn't they strike it? Because it's over the Russian border?

Unfortunately too many people refused to even consider the merits of first part of your statement because of the last part.

The latest in the region is that Kazakhstan will not help Russia to evade Western sanctions imposed on Moscow over its ongoing invasion of Ukraine. This may be significant because they are in a trade group with Russia. Maybe they are considering that Russia isn't as threatening as everyone assumed.

I haven’t seen much Trump worship as though he is a “demigod”; more like an inside political joke.

The people who take this as religious worship and see it everywhere are delusional and need professional psychiatric evaluation and medication.

This was a shocking thing to see today. A number of videos from Ukrainian soldiers taking back areas northwest of Kyiv show numerous bodies of Russian soldiers who were killed days or weeks ago but were never recovered by the Russian military. A serious leadership failure.
