well i meant in the lead up to the 2016 election they were "libertarian leaning freedom loving"
you are right, since then many over there have slid into semi left wing in the name of nationalism.
the cult of personality around trump has gotten crazy too. cant critize him at all without getting downvoted adn shouted down. they have become the same as democratic underground in some ways.
doenst matter if trump said....he wants to take everyones guns...many over there would cheer.
now there are still good posters over there. i still post sometimes and plenty of others are still over there and have principles.
dont get me wrong, trump is prolly the best president in my lifetime for nothing more than his fantastic foreign policy. if he runs again i will not vote for him in the primary but if he wins the nomination....i will for 100% sure.
i have an issue with people older then 70 running the country too though.

This is off point. It isn't an attempt to silence well-crafted cogent opinions that differ from the majority here it is an attempt to quell inflammatory trolling. They get off on being banned so they can run to some echo chamber and verbally masturbate about how they were censored and silenced by the foul fowl. Carrying their banner makes you look foolish.

In an even sweeter twist of fate, apparently the Kremlin (lied and) told the Russian people they had destroyed the entire Ukrainian air force. Now the Russian people are saying it COULDN'T be Ukrainians that attacked Belgorod, because they have no helicopters left.

That's how it works when you get to the extremes, because to enforce the extreme position you end up needing and desiring a strong man.
I see two groups in America supportive of Russia in all this. The alt-right types and democratic socialists and their even more extreme tankie cousins. Different reasons (Putin is based vs America is bad so Russia good) but same result.
