You sound incredibly emotional

Everyone with the means is leaving Russia atm 100000+ per week after the second week, ask Mariupol or Odessa who have had 50/50 ethnic Russian populations if they want anything to do with Russia now. Again Russia will be very lucky to hang on to Crimea if I’m reading the tea leaves correctly. Russia won’t do shite for a month then they will make one final push with a bunch of AA ball players and some tanks they’ll have taken out of storage. I’m convinced what’s making its way from the west will turn this thing uglier for Russia.

Pretty brutal video you can see on Reddit where Ukrainian soldiers shoot Russian POW’s in the leg. Not a good look and likely to result in atrocities committed against Ukrainian POW’s.
I don't see the point of shooting them in the leg. Talk about a wasted bullet.

And to film it on top of that. What do Ukrainian forces have to gain by documenting themselves committing an obvious war crime?

What Ukrainian POWs? Show me the videos of the Russians parading their captured…the Russians are having a hard time feeding themselves that’s part of the shitty morale, hell there’s reports of dozens of cases of frostbite, this is because the Russians don’t want to get bombed in the middle of the night in their APCs or tanks…

Nobody cares about Ukrainian war crimes. Hell, about 80% of the active posters in this thread would be more than happy to cheer on the torture and execution of Russian POWs because they’ve been conditioned to believe that every Russian soldier came to Ukraine for the sole purpose of raping children and blowing up maternity wards.

quote:Yes. This is where we start talking about the realistic way Putin is taken out of power. Multiple regions of Russia secede from the Federation. The coming economic crisis in Russia will be epic. But Putin will be insulated. The lower-level regional politicians will get the blame and this will start the independence ball rolling. Moscow won't be able to stop it.

Nah, frankly I’d just like to see some consistency. Be against war crimes or be against them, I don’t really give a shite. Or just admit if you are so invested in one side over the other that you don’t care if your side commits them but think the other side should be held accountable.
The tribalism here is hilarious to behold. I feel like this a game thread on the SEC rant because that’s how the majority of posters are treating it. My team never commits a hold and Bama holds every play. It’s childish.

You believe there are no Ukrainian POWs?

He hasn’t seen any videos on Twitter so obviously they don’t exist.

I get supporting Ukraine and believing they are winning. I support Ukraine, and believe that they have at least fought to a stalemate to this point. However, believing that the Ukrainian Army is not suffering losses, both manpower and equipment, is just foolish. We have a split it seems with people latching onto either the bleakest outlook for Russia or the rosiest. The same goes for the Ukranian outlook.
This war is hell for both sides, even if that hell isn't covered as thoroughly for one as it is the other.

I would say two things to this insightful post. Civilian bombings are going to produce a white hot rage in Ukrainians and then cause a retributive response which in turn will cause more targeted civilian bombings. Russia has so completely fricked this invasion they will rue the Date February 24th 2022 for decades. Keeping an entire population in the dark in 2022 about a fraternal war that is burning through thousands of Russian lives unnecessarily is impossible.

Russians aren’t picking up their war dead because Putin wants no inquiries from family and friends in Russia. Same goes for POW swaps, during “peace” negotiations Red Cross and UA asked about Russia picking up their dead and wounded and prisoner swaps- this was ignored. If the Russians are lighting up fleeing civilians and journos what are the odds they are transferring POWs to the back of the line for interrogation or for future use in propaganda or swaps? If they can’t feed themselves or fuel up their armoured divisions what would compel them to take POWs?

It's frightening how many simps on this board are buying the MSM narrative.
Russia taking Kiev will end this very quickly. That is what all of us should be rooting for.

You were whining a couple weeks ago that people were pointing out what may or may not have been war crimes on the side of Russia without acknowledging potential war crimes on behalf of ukraine.
Now people are pointing out ukraine videoing themselves committing obvious war crimes and you are still complaining lol.

I never complained about people not acknowledging Ukrainian war crimes. Earlier in the thread I was pointing out that not every dead civilian/damaged hospital equals a war crime.

Well I’m the the “people” that pointed out the Ukrainian war crimes so that doesn’t make any sense. And frankly, there’s more evidence in that video of war crimes than anything else that’s been posted in this thread. Does that mean I don’t think Russia is committing some war crimes? Of course they are.
