Great, we’ve apparently just lost our security agreement with the Solomon Islands to China:
Sounds like Australia's problem

What is your point?
"Closer than China is"--this makes no sense.

And that Auburn fan you’re responding to might have never said “Biden is dragging us into WW2”.
What in the actual frick? I've seen this a couple times now and we all know the next one would be WWIII? Right? Hopefully I'm missing something.

FWIW it looks to be reported by the major outlets now - Reuters, NYT, WSJ, etc. the way it’s being reported suggests it includes the establishment of a Chinese military base on the islands in addition to the security guarantees.
While OML is generally an alarmist, this move is problematic long term, should it come to fruition.

Vlady has shot his load in Ukraine. NATO is just itching for that chemical attack. I think that is the bigger threat to us than nuclear. Granted his supersonic missle can hit just about anywhere in Europe (except Iceland and Portugal) but that's their problem for allowing things to get to this point. I wouldn't be surprised if we have a "Star Wars" type system with all the classified military rockets going up. Perhaps that's why Trump threatened to drop the boom on tubby Rocketman.
Looking at the pictures from Mariupol it looks just as bad as some of those August 1945 photos of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

I know he meant WW3 but I said WW2 because that’s exactly what the other guy said.

Putin is going to have to step up the bombing because "the U.S. DOD says 75% of Russia's battalion tactical group capacity is being utilized in Ukraine." He's getting pushed back in areas and upwards of 10,000 Anti-tank missiles & MANPADs have made it to Ukraine in the last 72 hours from 7 different countries
Not only did Putin (and really the world) overestimate his military while underestimating the improvements the Ukrainians have made since 2014. It’s probably didn’t expect this much foreign support.
Not sure how much longer this is going to last but it’s got to be embracing enough for the top brass there to admit their faults

Yeah, problematic to the point if WWIII breaks out, that’s going to be an absolute nuclear shite zone. If it breaks out, a 4th major front just broke out.

Odessa encirclement imminent

Right on cue. Lol.
We still have complete naval superiority and that’s not changing in short order. This is one chip out of a huge block. Now they’ll add up which was my original point, but this isn’t nukes on the Solomon Islands, loss of naval superiority in the pacific, and WWIII.

I wouldn't put much stock in an image from the Russian Propaganda farm the RT network. And that's exactly where this one comes from

Try this one from Institute of the Study of War.

Even the Russians know that map is BS.

Ukraine moved away from Soviet/Russian doctrine to NATO doctrine.
And they're showing the superiority of NATO mission-command style doctrine to the world.
