I would think that they would try to seal off a portion of western Ukraine (Lviv) and try to make it a safe haven for refugees. Just a guess. Russia hasn't hit that area too hard yet.

Not a chance in hell would I trust the Russians not to engage a "Peacekeeping Mission" in some manner.

Neither would I. That is the reason I don't think that it happens.

The #Ukraine Army claims that they eliminated the fifth in a row Russian General - a commander of the 8th Rus. Army of the South region Lt. Gen. Andrey Mordvichev. He was eliminated in #Chornobaivka township near #Kherson city airport.

I hope that they got him with a javelin that my tax dollars helped pay for. Would make me feel like I was contributing to the cause.

He actually installed him after the existing government resigned. This stooge had been a diplomat in the Soviet Union and Moscow for years. Putin then sent in Russian troops to protect him. I then saw that Kazakhstan had refused Russia's request for assistance in Ukraine.
1. You’re correct that it’s hilarious.
2. It’s probably smart. Russia has already pulled its forces out of Kazakstan if the Kazaks send troops to Ukraine, who is going to hold down the people of Kazakstan?

All that equipment sitting on deck exposed to the salt air will be in great shape by the time it gets to Ukraine.
That's not a lot of equipment. The ship is not very large. I suspect there is stuff below decks. I know there are multiple ships but it's gonna take a lot more equipment than that to do any good anywhere. And considering this floated past Japan it's likely going somewhere else and not into the Black Sea. What will the Russians do next?

In the most perplexing move of the 21st century, Russia has agreed to a special military operation in Taiwan due to neo nazis/ensure that Taiwan won't attack Russia with a nuke all in exchange for MREs from China

Even if it was headed to the black sea, it could not enter if. Turkey has closed the Bosphorus to all Russian military shipping.

Yes, you are correct. Russia needs the Bosnia Herzegovina waterfront.

We need that update from the military think tank. I forgot who posted it but it was really very good, and very detailed.

We've got a cause worthy of the OT, baws!

Who is going with me and Landshark on a mission to rescue Victoria?

Our journalist Victoria Roshchyna is held captive by the Russian occupiers. She was reporting from hotspots in Eastern and Southern Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war. On March 12, we couldn't contact Victoria 1/3 LINK

As we learned from witnesses, at that time the journalist was in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk. On March 16, we learned that the day before (probably March 15), Victoria Roshchyna was detained by the Russian FSB. Currently, we do not know where she is 2/3

Militaryland.net does a good one. It isn't the one you're thinking of, but here is their update for today:

Somebody won't be happy about this...

Three Russian astronauts launched to the International Space Station early Friday. A few hours later, their Soyuz spacecraft docked at the space station and, when they boarded the orbiting outpost, they were wearing flight suits of striking colors — yellow and blue, similar to the colors of Ukraine’s flag.
The Russian astronauts did not say anything that would suggest that their clothing was a political statement. Yet it seemed difficult to believe it was happenstance. The outfits worn by astronauts in orbit on a daily basis tend to be subdued. But recent crews from Russia have worn vibrant flight suits of various colors during their arrival, including Yulia Peresild, an actress who arrived on the station in November in a bold red coverall.

Jonathan McDowell, a scientist at the Harvard Center for Astrophysics who closely follows space missions, suggested the colors might actually be those of Bauman Moscow State Technical University, which all three of the astronauts — Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveev and Sergey Korsakov — attended. An official from the university spoke as a guest on the Russian livestream of the launch on Friday.
This is probably the real reason

India bought some oil from Russia. Time to pack it in boys, it was a great couple of centuries.
