ou losers are now having to pin your hopes on Germany. Desperate. Still panic posting. You and Keith are circle jerking at the thought.
I hope the Germany stuff works out, I just genuinely don't feel the US should be spending resources on Ukraine. It makes sense for Germany, not for us.
But I do think its pretty funny that they are pinning their hopes on a country that has neutered itself and has enough issues of its own to keep itself occupied for decades.

US reportedly urges UN to back its Ukraine resolution not naming Russia as aggressor
by Kateryna Denisova February 24, 2025 3:43 PM
The U.S. sent a letter to U.N. member states asking them to vote for the American version of a resolution marking the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine that does not name Moscow as the aggressor, Suspilne reported on Feb. 24, citing an obtained text of the letter.
According to the letter, Washington calls for a vote against "any other option or amendments presented during the 11th emergency special session on Feb. 24, 2025."
The news underscores Washington's shifting views on the Russia-Ukraine war since the accession of President Donald Trump.
According to reporting from last week, the U.S. allegedly refused to co-sponsor a U.N. resolution on Russia's all-out war, which reaffirms Ukraine's territorial integrity and condemns Moscow's aggression.
More than 50 countries, including all EU states and Ukraine, are the authors of the collective draft. It calls Russia an aggressor country and demands that it withdraw its troops from all of Ukraine's territory.
The U.N. General Assembly is expected to consider the two resolutions on Russia's war later on Feb. 24.
The U.S. version of the resolution, dubbed the "Path to Peace," reportedly does not name Russia as the aggressor but calls for "an immediate end to the conflict." Moscow proposed adding a phrase to this sentence — "including by addressing its root causes," the media outlet reported.
The authors of the collective and competing resolution proposed to replace the word "conflict" with "Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine" and to call for a "just lasting peace" instead of merely a "lasting peace."

It just keeps getting better -
By the way, 'BSW' stands for Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht, or the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance. This describes her personality perfectly. High maintenance, goes through staff like a meat grinder, has zero respect for colleagues or voters. She's been called 'a bit psychopathish'.

Sahra Wagenknecht’s party threatens legal challenge to German election result. BSW blames overseas voting problems in weighing lawsuit after missing Bundestag threshold by just 13,400 votes.

The result is a major blow for Wagenknecht, who turned her back on the far-left party The Left in 2023 to form her own party. While BSW struggled, The Left performed better than expected in the Sunday vote. The Left leader Jan van Aken dismissed BSW as a passing phenomenon, comparing it to the short-lived Pirate Party. “We won’t even remember it in two or three years,” he said.

If there are no security guarantees Ukraine would be foolish to agree to a deal unless Russia winning on the battlefield was imminent.[

No matter how much we whitewash it, Russia is the aggressor and should be noted as such.
That also doesn't mean it was completely unprovoked, or that it wasn't preventable. But no one "made" them do it.

I just don't see a path to victory for Ukraine unless we do it for them, which I personally am not willing to do.
I guess a path to stalemate is theoretically possible if non-US NATO nations support them, but I don't see that happening either.
Zelensky should sue for peace and then slink his useless arse off to a non-extradition country, maybe walk around Paris in his stupid sweatshirt for a while.

I believe I said Russia probably has 150k killed in action considering if the 800k number was anywhere close the War would already be over. Looks like I was in the ballpark. Actually confirmed deaths on the Russia side 95,323

We all get who decides but the idea that Ukraine has an easy path to NATO membership even with US support is simply not true. 3 road blocks being Hungary, Slovakia and Turkey.
It was actually Ukraine joining the EU which drew Russia's ire. The fact is that Ukraine cleaning up its act enough to join the EU would mean that Russian fomented corruption would be gone as would its influence in Ukraine.

New German Chancellor Merz is Anti US. No surprise considering he worked for Blackrock. He is a globalist puppet so he will be against President Trump. This is a War against President Trump. Trump vs The Globalist/Deepstate
BREAKING: Likely new German Chancellor Friedrich Merz slams Trump and urges Europe to gain "independence" from the U.S. after election victory.
"After the latest statements made by Donald Trump last week, it is clear, that the Americans — at any case these Americans, this administration — mostly don't care about the fate of Europe one way or another."
"It is an absolute priority to strengthen Europe as quickly as possible, so that we achieve independence from the US, step by step."

Doesn't the current 867,000 number include wounded? Using the old 3:1 ratio it's totally plausible that this is a fairly accurate number.

BERLIN — Robert Habeck is out. The German Green Party’s candidate for chancellor announced Monday that he is stepping down from a leadership role after his party suffered a crushing defeat in Sunday’s election, finishing fourth with 11.61 percent of the vote.
quote:Karma 2.0
The Greens, once a rising force in German politics and a member of Scholz's coalition government with Habeck as economy minister, struggled to maintain their footing. Party leaders Franziska Brantner and Felix Banaszak plan to stay on, but Habeck is stepping aside.
His departure comes after an uneven campaign in which the Greens flirted with working with Merz’s CDU but ultimately found themselves squeezed between moderates drifting right and left-wing voters defecting to the Left Party (8.7 percent).
If you're unaware of how odious Habeck is, he has filed suit against over 800 German citizens for insulting him. Yes, even as a public figure he is sending police to arrest people in their homes for calling him an imbecile. They get dragged to the police station in their bathrobes and fined over 600 Euro.
quote:
Over the past three years, more than 1,300 citizens in Germany have faced legal proceedings for allegedly insulting public officials. The surge in cases, particularly under the current coalition government led by the Social Democrats (SPD), Greens, and Free Democrats (FDP), has prompted a nationwide debate over the limits of free speech.
Data obtained by Apollo News shows a sharp increase in such cases, with Green Party ministers Robert Habeck, the vice chancellor, and Annalena Baerbock, the foreign minister, filing a combined total of over 1,300 complaints. Many of these involve comments, memes, or social media posts deemed defamatory under Section 188 of the German Criminal Code.
One of the most controversial cases involved a 64-year-old pensioner from Bavaria, Stefan Niehoff, whose home was raided by police last week after he posted a meme calling Habeck an “imbecile.” Niehoff described the early-morning raid, during which his devices were confiscated, as reminiscent of practices in authoritarian regimes. According to prosecutors, the raid was prompted solely by the meme, which was interpreted as an effort to undermine Habeck’s role in government.
It can't have anything to do with the election results, could it...?

The EU is spending more money on Russian fossil fuels than on financial aid to Ukraine, a report marking the third anniversary of the invasion has found. The EU bought €21.9bn (£18.1bn) of Russian oil and gas in the third year of the war, according to estimates from the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (Crea), despite the efforts under way to kick the continent’s addiction to the fuels that fund Vladimir Putin’s war chest.

Even if you wanted to include KIA/WIA in that number it's still way to high. Losing 867,000 soldiers regardless of KIA or WIA means the War would be over. I said the numbers look like this KIA/WIA
Russia= 150k/400k
Ukraine= 250k/500k
The now confirmed 95k number for the Russians puts my numbers real close and definitely more realistic than the 867k fantasy numbers, regardless if KIA/WIA

Before the deluge of new Kremlin talking points about Chancellor Merz gets going from our resident moron, you can check the Wikipedia page.
Or, just believe the exact opposite of what said moron has to post. Same result.
