A coherent policy toward China is needed.

Cold Peace with Russia / Cold War with China: Trump’s foreign policy agenda

The Trump administration and the far-right section of capital that backs him, however, have opted for the Kissinger approach. No longer viewing Russia as a real economic or security threat to either the U.S. or Western Europe, they want to focus on China, the real competitor to U.S. power. And they want to do it right now, not later on. Taking confrontation with Russia off the table, in their view, relieves U.S. imperialism of an expensive distraction from that task.

This faction of capital accepts the premise, as put forward by an anonymous “former government official” in a much-hyped paper published by the Atlantic Council in 2021, that “allowing Russia to drift fully into China’s strategic embrace” would be the “single greatest geostrategic error” U.S. imperialism could make.

Russia is hurting themselves with the war in Ukraine. They are spending a lot of their reserves, they are hurting their overall economy, and they are losing a lot of men.
They slso have lost a lot of their street cred because of their struggle to win the war. They have s as Lodi inspired Eutooevyo bulk up even to the point where Sweden and Finland joined NATO.

Do T take it the wrong way, they aren’t losing the war. They are winning; however, they aren’t doing it in economically or with any kind of precision.

China can’t be scared of the bear. In fact they are probably looking for ways to take advantage of the situation. So far I see them as big winners in all of this. I know Japan and the rest of our Pacific allies are watching things very closely to see if America is no longer guaranteeing their safety.

Vivek also said this... Russia should be appeased, just to get them away from China.. give them Ukraine, give them whatever countries they want to take, it helps us with a unified ally against China.

The China + Russia "bond" is built on autocracy. The message of both Putin (who still at the same times continues the charade of democratic elections) and Xi is that "Democracy is a weakness."

As long as the US is a Democracy, it will rankle Putin... and represent a threat to him, internally. Internal Russian propaganda bombards the people with the US being an evil Oligarchy where people have it worse than poor Russians, in reality.

I do have to say that for someone who has corraled a lot of "anti-Imperialism" supporters, Trump got very Imperialistic once inaugurated...

Greenland?

Canada?

Okay... that makes sense in the "Metternich-Lindbergh Theory" of containing and focusing American influence on North America.

Gaza?

Thank God Syrians managed to free their country from Russia before Trump got into office. That’s all I’m going to say.
He's right, you know.

Very interesting and encouraging developments.

Negotiations are currently ongoing over the minerals, and it appears that the American mission has been, as per latest information, surprisingly "eager" to include the minerals from the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine.
LINK

Zelensky is holding fast against a country-wide minerals deal. The Ukrainians are only interested in giving rights to minerals in currently-occupied areas. Sweeteners may include "future considerations to be discussed at later date", but Trump has done his worst to no effect. Except permanently damaging his reputation world-wide. Donnie, still dreaming about that Nobel Peace Prize...? Obama got one, why not you? SAD.

As to all the billions the Ukrainians will be required to repay Trump, no matter which figure du jour you believe, the Ukrainians have no intention of repaying and won’t. May even put war recovery extraction tax on rights holders after war. But by then the Russians are gone.

America is being sold out?

We can't be sold out any more than what the globalists have already done.

Russia launches largest drone attack since start of full-scale invasion

by The Kyiv Independent news desk February 23, 2025 12:28 PM

Russia launched its largest single drone attack overnight since the start of the full-scale invasion with 267 drones entering Ukrainian airspace, Air Force spokesperson Yuriy Ihnat said on Feb. 23.

Explosions were heard across the country, including in Kyiv where drone debris fell in the center of the capital and other districts that two houses and a post office, Kyiv’s military head Tymur Tkachenko reported. Ukraine’s air defense shot down 138 drones while 119 decoy drones were lost.

While there were no reported casualties in Kyiv, three people were injured in Odesa Oblast after a fire broke out at a residential house, reported Odesa Oblast military head Oleh Kiper.

In addition to the drone attacks, Russian forces also launched missiles at Ukraine. In Zaporizhzhia, a 53-year-old woman was injured after Russian shelling hit residential areas causing a fire.

The worst attack occurred in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, where a missile strike killed one person and injured five. The attack inflicted heavy damage on the city's civilian infrastructure, including 12 apartment buildings, an infrastructure facility, a retirement home, and a church.

INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE
23 February 2025

On 20 February 2025, Putin claimed Russian 810th Brigade soldiers had crossed into Ukraine's Sumy Region from Russia's Kursk region. Putin's claim is currently not substantiated or corroborated. Ukrainian forces likely maintain control of approximately 400 - 450 sq km in Kursk.

It is highly likely that Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) force elements have returned to frontline positions in Kursk oblast, Russia. This follows a temporary withdrawal for a period of rest and refit, almost certainly primarily due to more than a third of the 11,000 DPRK combat troops deployed to Kursk being killed or wounded attacking Ukrainian-held positions.

The highest Russian pressure remains centred in Donetsk oblast. Russia continues to attack key urban areas including Pokrovsk, Chasiv Yar and Toretsk, whilst also attempting to advance into less urban areas in the southern part of the frontline, north and northwest of Veyka Novosilka.

Russian advances towards the key Donetsk logistical hub of Pokrovsk have been minimal in the last two weeks. Ukrainian forces are highly likely contesting Pishchane, an outskirt town 5km southwest of Pokrovsk, with overall control being unclear at the present time.

Keith (formerly known as Leon) and Cope du Tigre are panic posting.

Must be worthless federal employees. When they answer the email on what they have accomplished/done this week to Elon they will have to respond by admitting to posting propaganda/lies to other diehard Zelenskyites in a safezone echo chamber.

Exhibiting strange, erratic tendicies.

Diagnosis: Trump has broken them both. TDS
