another Valentine's day gift for Putin...
US vice president: America will not help Europe because of European approach to propaganda
Serhiy Sydorenko, Alona Mazurenko — Friday, 14 February 2025, 17:34
US Vice President J.D. Vance was highly critical of the European Union’s approach to countering propaganda, including Russian disinformation, during his speech in Munich.
Source: Vance’s speech at the Munich Security Conference; European Pravda’s correspondent
Details: The core of Vance’s speech focused on denouncing the EU’s policies on countering fake news and propaganda.
Vance began by stating that from the US perspective, there is no longer a shared democratic vision between the two sides of the Atlantic. "For years, we’ve been told that everything we fund and support is in the name of our shared democratic values," he said, before arguing that for the new US administration, European values are no longer relevant, as European anti-propaganda measures, in his view, restrict freedom of speech.
As an example to support this claim, he cited Romania’s cancellation of the results of a presidential election due to alleged Russian interference.
Quote: "You can believe it’s wrong for Russia to buy social media advertising to influence your elections... But if your democracy can be destroyed with a few hundred thousand dollars of digital advertising from a foreign country, then it wasn’t very strong to begin with?"
Details: Vance stressed that for these reasons, he does not see room for cooperation in security matters either.
Quote: "I believe, deeply, that there is no security if you are afraid of the voices, the opinions and the conscience that guide your very own people," Vance said. "If you’re running in fear of your own voters, there is nothing America can do for you. Nor for that matter is there anything you can do for the American people…"

The Kiev Regime team just wrapped up talks with The Orange Team.
From the looks of it, everyone’s absolutely thrilled. Zelensky’s pimp Yermak looks genuinely pissed, while Rubio and Vance couldn’t look less amused.
According to media reports, Zelensky and his pimp have already bounced from the conference.

I'm not sure what administration is even a precedent for this one... there will be global celebrations when Trump dies, though, except for in Moscow.

Germany's Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated at the Munich Security Conference that Europe will not be able to provide security guarantees for Ukraine in the coming years without the support of the United States.
He said that "We must be clear that there is a significant gap in our deterrence capabilities. Without U.S. resources, we will not be able to provide security guarantees for Ukraine, at least in the near future."

That is the second reference that you have made in a couple of days regarding Trumps death or hanging. It is apparent that you are becoming even more unhinged. You are as deranged as Keith Olberman. Thus your name.
What idiots like you don't get is these politicians in Europe are being voted out/rejected because they are so out of touch with what their populations want or what their concerns are.
1. An end to mass migration that is destroying their societies.
2. Authoritarian Soviet style free speech censorship.
You just got your arse handed to you in the US for similar concerns and you idiots still don't get it.
Keep it up.

A small popular vote loss (49.9% to 48.3%), the smallest House majority in 30 years for the GOP (which might switch depending on upcoming special elections)... Dem Senate seats and Governor's offices in states Trump won... not much of an "arse handing."
The Mid-terms will set things straight.

The scenario that is feared, that I have read about several places, involves Suwalki Gap... the corridor between Belarus and Kaliningrad through southern Lithuania, on the border with Poland.
Russia parks a huge number of its young conscripts (the ones it won't send to Ukraine so as now to piss off its citizenship) in Belarus, along with tactical nukes, and tells NATO (which Trump has pretty much effectively pulled the US out of as much as he can...) "we're taking a land bridge to Kalinigrad, and we have tactical nukes, as well as ballistic nukes aimed at your capitals in numbers higher than you can use missile defense against, and if you try to stop us we're firing them." Then they drive into Lithuania to Kalingrad... which also isolates the Baltic states from Poland and Europe by land, and the Russian Navy blockades them in the Baltic Sea.

This would suggest an increase in annual output from about 40 before February 2022 to a wartime output of 60–70 for 2023, with possibly even more to be produced over the course of 2024. Based on this pattern, the production rate from 2025 could be more than 90 annually.
Lets give Russia the benefit of the doubt and double what western experts think and say that Russia produces 200 new T90s per year. It will still take 25 years for Russia to replace what it lost in Ukraine. So Russia is looking at 2050 before it is even as strong as it was in 2022. Until then it is propping itself up with 50+ year old outdated tanks.
Meanwhile Poland by itself will have over 1300 new western MBTs delivered by 2030. It will also have Apache helicopters, new F16s, F35s, missiles, and all kinds of new drones delivered. It will have a standing army of 300,000 and 700,000 reservists. That is more than Ukraine had at the start of the invasion and way more advanced equipment than Ukraine had at the start of the invasion. Not to mention that Poland has a working air defense system which is something Ukraine did not have at the start of the invasion. Poland is also home to an Aegis Ashore system which can intercept missiles in the atmosphere. They are negotiating with Israel to buy the Arrow3 missile systems. It is also working with Ukraine which has already produced and deployed in small numbers a laser missile defense system. Again that is just Poland. It does not take into account the UK, France, Germany and the other European members of NATO who hopefully will get off their arse now that they are scared that the USA will abandon them. If they do then you can double or triple the forces and equipment that NATO would be able to bring to bear against Russia in a fight for a land bridge to Kalingrad.
If a land bridge to Kalingrad scenario happens in the next 20 years or so Russia will get its shite pushed in by Poland and the other European forces on the ground. Poland will have the capability to intercept Russia's nukes, and France and the UK have nukes so they can hit back if Russia is stupid enough to let the nukes fly. So even if the USA whimps out and does not respond to Article 5 being used. The European members of NATO would be able to stop Russia. Which is what Trump is trying to get them to do. Now if the European members of NATO continue to sit back and not keep their militaries ready to fight then Russia may have a chance. However, even then it will take Russia at least 10-15 years to recover from its failed invasion of Ukraine (yes it is a failed invasion because its goal was to conquer the whole country).
