Patriarch Kirill ridiculed a priest who said that the church should think about the Kingdom of God, not patriotism
Priest: “I do not agree with such a patriotic tendency in church relations. The duty of a priest is to lead people to the Kingdom of Heaven, not to engage in patriotism”.
Kirill: “How great. It's the first time I've heard such a thing. Are you, bishop, not from Western Ukraine by any chance? Go and sit down and seriously think about all that you have just said here”.
The video of the dialog was published by Protodeacon Andrey Kurayev and journalist Kseniya Luchenko. According to them, the recording was made either at the end of December 2024 or quite recently.

Zelensky stated that he is ready to discuss the topic of exchanging territories with Russia. The Kremlin spokesperson responded by saying that this is "impossible".
"Russia has never discussed and will never discuss the topic of exchanging its territory. And, of course, the Ukrainian forces will be expelled from this territory. Those who are not destroyed will be expelled." - said Dmitry Peskov.

Global Defense Spending Soars to 2.46 Trillion: Ukraine and Russia in Focus
Global Military Spending Reached 2.46 trillion in 2024, a 7.4% increase driven by Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, according to the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). Germany overtook the UK to become NATO’s second-largest spender after the US.
Russia spent $461.6 billion on its military, losing over 4,100 tanks and a quarter of its Su-34 fighter jets. Ukraine, the report notes, faces significant personnel losses and requires sustained Western support to avoid further battlefield setbacks.

Do you have any original thoughts of your own? Are you capable of organizing them into a post?
This constant spamming of X posts requires the mental capacity of a pet rock. That’s probably why you are so good at it.

Rocket attack on Kyiv: rescuers dismantle building structures in Obolon district
Rescuers continue to dismantle building structures in the Obolon district of Kyiv after a Russian missile strike on the morning of February 12.
According to Ukrinform, the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv reported this on Facebook.
“Rescuers continue emergency and rescue operations to dismantle building structures in the Obolon district of Kyiv,” the statement said.
The missile strike caused partial destruction of office buildings and a fire. One person died and four were injured, including a child.
Ukrinform
more info from The Kyiv Post
[Updated at 12:08]: Kyiv’s air defense systems intercepted six Russian Iskander-M ballistic missiles over the capital, according to Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA), citing the Air Force.
“This is a dangerous weapon that is not easy to neutralize, and even falling debris can cause serious destruction,” Tkachenko wrote on Telegram.
The attack damaged residential buildings, an office complex, and non-residential infrastructure in the Holosiivskyi, Svyatoshynskyi, Obolonskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Pecherskyi districts. As of 10:00 a.m., all fires in Kyiv had been extinguished or localized.
Reports of falling debris and damage in the Podilskyi and Solomyanskyi districts, as well as at certain sites in Holosiivskyi, have not been confirmed.

For the EU, natural gas is now more expensive than oil. Blowing up Nord Stream and encouraging Ukraine to cut gas transit was not such a smart idea.
Hence why Ukraine had to go rogue when they did it.
It was very clear from the beginning that the "Russia blew up their own pipeline" story was a hastily prepared cover by Ukraine/the US. It made 0 sense even at the time. I'm surprised the military/economic/foreign policy/mining/manufacturing/refining/history/software engineering "professionals" of this thread were so easily duped.

The peace formulas proposed by Kiev and the West are untenable in the current conditions — Russian Security Council
??The Ukrainian crisis can still be resolved by peaceful means, but only with a radical change in the West's approaches, Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Alexey Shevtsov is sure.
??Russia would not have launched a special military operation (SMO) if Ukraine and the West had honestly fulfilled the Minsk agreements. The people of Ukraine have the right to demand an answer for the deception, he added.

There was no gas flowing through the pipeline for weeks, with a multibillion dollar penalty in weeks for contract default BEFORE Nordstream was blown, and one of the 4 pipelines left intact. Gazprom immediately filed and insurance claim.

Looks like I was correct yesterday about Trump trusting Witkoff more than General Kellogg in regards to dealing with the Russia/Ukraine situation
Trump secretly assigned Middle East envoy Stephen Witkoff a “role in the peace process” between Russia and Ukraine, — New York Times
??Trump entrusted Witkoff with the task of establishing a channel of negotiations with Russia on Ukraine. He personally trusts Witkoff, whom he has known since the 1980s, and considers his experience in negotiations useful for achieving peace in Ukraine.
??On February 11, Witkoff visited Moscow to pick up American teacher Mark Vogel, who was convicted in Russia. Before that, he held talks with close allies of Putin. According to the NYT, this was the first known trip of a senior US official to Russia since 2021.
??In addition, Witkoff discussed the situation in Ukraine with representatives of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, who are seeking to mediate in resolving the conflict."

WOW. Truly damning evidence, a company had an asset destroyed and filed a claim for it? Definite evidence for fraud there.
We have reporting saying the Ukrainians did it, including how Zelensky tried to call it off at the last minute

It's hard to believe that there are some people that still believe that Russia blew up that pipeline. But there are some hardcore dumbasses in this thread that are willing to fight right down to the last Ukrainian. The same type people believe there is no corruption in the US government. That the CIA, USAID and the FBI are honorable institutions. They refuse to accept reality just like the Putin lovers in Russia that they bitch about. Its called propaganda and mind control/brainwashing. They cling to an old dinosaur mentality because they are neocons/Troskeyites.
It's strange to see the hard left and neocons join forces. But not surprising. They have the same boogie men: Russia and Trump.

I don’t know for sure who blew up the pipe line. I’m not as smart as you guys.
But the most logical side is Ukraine because it would hurt Russia. Now it could be the US too. And there is some logic behind the possibility that the pipeline owners did it to claim the insurance money.
But honestly what is the big deal? They didn’t blow up our pipeline.
