This is just an absurd lie. I mean, it's so far from reality that it's preposterous.

I mean...ships? Main battle tanks? Heavy trucks? Missiles? Counter battery radars? Patriot/400 series systems? Night vision? Body armor? Thermal sights? HIMARS?

You're either just being paid to lie, or you're a total moron

Russia's defense is the same as always, lots of land to take and hold and winter. Hitler ran out of fuel to maneuver in WWII so stalled. Other than its quantity, the vaunted T-34 superiority is a myth.

Russia no longer has the manpower, and definitely the technology, it needs for major offensives against any modern nation not larger than a postage stamp.

Without more than a pissant navy, it really isn't a global power however many problems it causes as a proxy of China on the global stage.

BWAHAHAHA, typically a Russian drilling rig is operated 1/10th as efficient as the same rig operated by North Americans. That was before US crews lowered time to drill a well from a month to 5 days. Typically, a Russian drilling crew will get paid several months later. This is a major reason that they work so slow. They basically don't give a rat's arse about productivity because they know they are constantly screwed over.

Reminds me of one of the favorite quips from workers in the USSR. "They pretend to pay us and we pretend to work."

Not everything we use is still in production, but what is produced is usually produced in small numbers. We don’t maintain excess capacity because it’s unprofitable.

Russian defense firms are state owned and the Russians maintained a large excess production capacity even after the Cold War ended. They felt the ability to surge production was worth the expense.

Aircraft production is lower in Russia, and I assume total naval tonnage is lower too but I haven’t looked at that.

The woke liquor stores here in Portland no longer carry Stolichnaya. It's very sad.

Kanal13's reports are surprisingly frank given they are very much Ukrainian. This is their report on Russian glide bombs and the new massive ones. Electronic warfare along with air and ground based defense clearly has not yet found a way to stop these attacks.

Since they are GPS guided I wonder if they can be spoofed to land on Russian lines...

if we were using our literal motherfricking stealth jets that basically double as EWACS and our literal nuclear attack submarines and our actual stealth bombers wreaking complete and total havoc on Russia and its supply chain amd logistics, how do you think this war would be going? You think Russia and it's ability to produce more artillery shells would last more than a week?

The war would quickly devolve into a nuclear exchange and we would all be dead.

Especially in Russia where our satellites would see the land based launchers deploying ahead of launch. Even the S500 (only one) would be defenseless to non nuke strikes

Its also what our government believes, and has believed for a long time.

The people with actual information, not people just cosplaying as military analysts on a CFB message board, have clearly treated Russia differently from our other geopolitical opposition.

There is a line somewhere between "completely capitulate" and "unnecessarily risk nuclear war over a country that ultimately isn't important to US interests". No one seems willing or capable of finding it.

There is no fine line. If you don’t keep your promises, you can’t deal, if you can’t deal you are going to run into major issues.

?? russia has started using cheap drones made of plywood and foam plastic to detect Ukrainian air defense systems, according to the representative of the HUR of the MOU, Chernyak.

The drone of the first type has a camera and a Ukrainian SIM card to transmit relevant images to the enemy. The second type is used as a bait for air defense.

In order to obtain the system's location data, it must shoot down this drone. And since such drones are almost impossible to distinguish from the "shaheeds" from the ground, they will be shot down.

The Prime Minister of Romania explained why they cannot shoot down "Shaheds" over Ukraine.

"In order to shoot down russian drones, we must open fire on Ukrainian territory. I think that it has not been allowed yet, I have not heard of any decision on this matter," Marcel told Cholaku.

Slovakia and Hungary Claim Ukraine is Using Oil to “Blackmail” Over Russia Support

Slovakia announced on Friday that it had proposed a technical solution to Ukraine to restore the halted Russian oil supplies to Slovak and Hungarian refineries. This move comes after warnings that the partial halt could result in fuel shortages as early as September. Both Bratislava and Budapest, known for opposing sanctions against Moscow and military aid to Kyiv, have criticized Ukraine for stopping Lukoil supplies and are seeking EU mediation.

Gergely Gulyas, chief of staff for Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, accused Ukraine of blackmail due to Hungary’s and Slovakia’s stance on Russia’s war in Ukraine. He emphasized the urgency of resolving the situation to avoid fuel shortages. Ukrainian presidential aide Mykhailo Podolyak refuted these claims, stating that the suspension of Russian oil transit was not an act of blackmail.
