Understood. Glad that at least some of the people in this thread can acknowledge the obvious truth
You stated the CIA led a coup in Ukraine. Is that an “obvious truth”? Or did you just embellish things to make the US look bad?
It appears to me that you tried to crayfish, and now you are trying to act as if others are not understanding what happened in Ukraine, but you do.
Keep sliding backwards.

There have been rumors for weeks that Russia would follow up the invasion of the Kharkiv region with a similar assault towards Sumy, in an effort to further stretch and thin out Ukrainian defenses. There have also been regular reports recently that Russia had accumulated significant forces for such an assault.
Today, Russian Telegram channel "Two Majors" (one of the most popular channels covering the war) reports that those Russian forces just got blown up.
It would seem that the attack plan was not adjusted in the wake of Western permissions to attack Russian forces on Russian territory.

The whole problem with "spread out the front line to stretch Ukraine out? Russia doesn't have the air defense assets to cover a wider front.

Instead of upvoting like sheep, you lot should be livid at the Biden administration for creating and intentionally facilitating a 50/50 meat grinder for all this time and into the foreseeable future.
Everyone not fighting wins. The only losers are poor and working class Ukrainians and Russians who are feeding their beloved sons into the war machine. Sacrificing future generations for Western profits.
I seriously dislike all of you for being so blind.

Zelenskyy meets with US officials to discuss air defence and Ukraine using Western weapons to strike targets in Russia
KATERYNA TYSHCHENKO — SATURDAY, 1 JUNE 2024, 19:33
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met with a bipartisan delegation of the US House Foreign Affairs Committee led by its Chairman, Republican Michael McCaul, in Singapore.
Source: website of the President of Ukraine
Details: Democratic House Foreign Affairs Committee Co-Chairman Gregory Meeks, Ranking Members Yong Kim (R) and Joe Wilson (R) and Joe Courtney (D) also attended the meeting.
Zelenskyy briefed the meeting participants on the latest developments on the battlefield in Ukraine. They then discussed further military assistance to Ukraine, including strengthening Ukraine’s air defence with additional systems and missiles.
Those present at the meeting also talked about the importance of allowing Ukraine to use US weapons to strike military targets in Russia in the areas bordering Ukraine’s Kharkiv Oblast.
President Zelenskyy also talked to the US officials about further strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia, saying that the US Congress plays a key role in shaping the legal framework for the use of frozen Russian sovereign assets for Ukraine’s urgent needs.

you people seriously contending that the US was not involved in that coup?

The Act of Declaration of Independence of Ukraine (Ukrainian: ??? ???????????? ???????????? ???????, romanized: Akt proholoshennia nezalezhnosti Ukrainy) was adopted by the Supreme Soviet of the Ukrainian SSR on 24 August 1991.[1]
The Act reestablished Ukraine's state independence from the Soviet Union.[2][1] The declaration was affirmed by a majority of Ukrainians in all regions of Ukraine by an independence referendum on 1 December, followed by international recognition starting on the following day. Ukrainian independence led to the dissolution of the Soviet Union by 26 December 1991.

Key Takeaways:
Russian forces conducted a large-scale drone and missile strike mainly targeting Ukrainian energy infrastructure on the night of May 31 to June 1.
The current lack of clarity about US restrictions on Ukraine's use of US-provided weapons to strike military targets in Russian territory misses an opportunity to deter further Russian offensive efforts across the border into northern Ukraine.
Individual Western governments are stipulating disparate policies about Ukraine's future use of Western-supplied F-16 fighter jets.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky acknowledged that some Ukrainian reserve brigades remain understrength and stated that the slow arrival of US security assistance is complicating Ukrainian efforts to effectively commit reserves to ongoing defensive operations.
Russian forces recently marginally advanced near Kupyansk, Chasiv Yar, and Avdiivka.
The Russian Ministry of Justice designated the "Way Home" social movement, a movement of relatives of mobilized Russian servicemembers that has been calling for their relatives' demobilization, as a "foreign agent" on June 1.

The logistics to supply that arc rather than from more centralized supply routes for Ukraine, is a big deal.

Patience Stormy patience my friend, its gonna get awfully cold for most Ukranians, come fall, but Russia didnt take that mound of rubble that used to be a city.
You guys disgust me. Somehow think its a great victory to watch 1,000s die on both sides so cargo pants and his cronies get filthy rich off the dead bodies of his "citizens".

You really have to twist your face up to spit out this kind of logic. Like Ukraine doesn't want to bomb troop concentrations and ammo depots in Kursk. But they'll do it reluctantly because we encourage it...

A Minute Of Humanity...
... VSU tanker Maxim Likhachev "dialed" Volga 149.200 channel and arranged with Russians his surrender... in T-64 tank, which protected him from shots in the back from his "fellow" VSU barrier troops. Obviously VSU thought that this "armor group" broke through Russians defenses, which technically was correct. VSU immediately reported a "success". Boy, have they been let down. Here is video of Likhachev surrendering with the tank and after a few seconds of necessary battlefield procedures you can see how Russian soldiers change their attitude after he is taken in. They pat him on the shoulder and the guy, at his 39 years of age, will have a good meal, shower and sleep in a long time before being debriefed by counterintel. He saved his life... and lives of others too. It is a remarkable video in so many respects and idiosyncrasies which are beyond the grasp of NATO "Russia experts".
