Today, the Department of Defense (DoD) announced additional security assistance as an extraordinary measure to address some of Ukraine's most pressing security and defense needs. This announcement is the Biden Administration's fifty-fifth tranche of equipment to be provided from DoD inventories for Ukraine since August 2021. This Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA) package is valued at up to $300 million and includes capabilities to support Ukraine's immediate air defense, artillery, and anti-tank requirements.
Anyone who supports this is scum.
Whatever you say commie.

Much like the Luftwaffe changing tactics in the Battle of Britain by attacking civilians instead of bombing RAF airfields, production facilities and radar stations gave the Brits just that little bit of breathing room they needed to rest, train and refit pilots and aircraft backfired for Germany is how I view the Russians decision to attack civilians in the winter of 2022/2023 gave the Ukrainian military the time to regroup. The Russians weren’t expecting us to be able to send entire power stations to Ukraine to replace the ones they attacked.
This has nothing to do with what i said above but I’ve been wondering why with Ukraine needing to revamp it’s air force why they Antonov hasn’t struck some kind of deal to build a plant in another country like Germany or Romania and design their own fighter aircraft. Obviously this would be a long process but when the F-16s they are getting need replacing they will need to find a new fighter fleet from somewhere. They could always sign a contract with any number of nations for new fighters but Antonov is a very good company with some bright engineers. They have always been more of a transport type aircraft company but I bet they could in time put together a good 4++ gen fighter that would be able to counter Russia’s Sukhois.

Not only did it give the UAF time to regroup they did not even bother attacking the most obvious targets in Ukraine. There were only 12 (11 now) railroad bridges across the Dnieper River in all of Ukraine. I can understand not destroying the bridges when during the initial invasion because they were trying to take the whole country swiftly, but any decent military strategist would have recommended taking out those 12 bridges when Russia was defeated at Kyiv and decided to focus on the Donbas.

IDK but if I had to guess it Antonov was a shadow of its cold war self prior to the Maiden. A lot of Antonov's engineers were lured to Russia to work for Sukhoi and Illyushin etc in the 8 years between the Maiden and the invasion. Antonov was basically a transportation company and a repair depo before being destroyed by the Russians on the first day of the invasion. Plus I would imagine Germany would prefer Ukraine buy or lease Eurofighters and France would prefer them to buy Rafaels than design and build its own fighter.

Why waste time and money designing your own when there are already good options available? Petro Poroshenko attempted to negotiate a deal with Saab to build Gripens in Lviv back in 2015 or 2016 but the Obama administration blocked the deal. Apparently the Gripen has enough American components on it that Saab and Sweden need our approval for it to be sold. Damn Obama was a pussy.

This is another statement that has FAR more shades of grey in it than you lads so eager for bloodshed would care to admit.

If Russia were really in "win at all costs, conquer Europe" mode, you'd think they would use attacking oil refineries as justification to just blow up every power plant within striking distance in Ukraine.

The RAF was just a few days from having to stop contesting of the air over southern England when Hitler ordered the Luftwaffe to stop bombing British air bases and start bombing cities in order to demoralize the British populace. That let the RAF regroup and denied Germany the air superiority it needed for an invasion of Britain and strengthening resolve of the British people.
Ukraine's power infrastructure which though operated by civilians is a legit military target was on the brink of collapsing in late 2022 and early 2023. It got so bad that Ukraine was asking former Warsaw Pact countries to see if they could find a way to make the steam engines that were on display operable. Putin thought he could demoralize the Ukrainian populace by using precision guided missiles to attack shopping malls and apartment buildings. This allowed Ukraine to repair its infrastructure and strengthened the resolve of the Ukrainian people.

The civilian death toll is very low.
The Israelis have killed three times as many civilians in Gaza, in the space of six months.

Tell that to the people of Bucha or to the people of Izium

WTF does that have to do with mass murder committed by Russia in Ukraine?

Mass is relative. Relative to the side you support, presumably.
