France military is legit and surprisingly unwoke (especially compared to our current clown show).
Btw I have consistently said that Russia is a paper tiger who hasn't (and cannot) even get close to Kiev. My "cheering" for Russia is facetious, I primarily want an end to the meat grinder and for the rat Zelenskyy to pay for his betrayal of Trump.
Russia poses ZERO threat to Nato and anyone who says otherwise is lying. Their "Trump card" is literally "Oy, if you don't watch it well threaten to lob a few of these 60 year old nukes that haven't been properly maintained or stored for 40 years in your general direction (provided that you're located within 3500 km of our launch points".

Russia is going to be saying they destroyed another HIMARS but it was clearly a decoy and the Iskander missed it anyway by about 50 feet which still would have done damage but it was a definite decoy that was hit from what I could see. The cab isn’t the same as the M142.
Also looks like i’m this aid package Ukraine is getting some more block 1 ATACMS which are the clusters with a 100 mile range along with artillery shells.

Hungary is hungry for Russia's oil and natural gas who supplies 100%. There were pipelines to other sources planned but cancelled. This makes Orban Putin's bitch.

A 55,000 BPD refinery was purchased in California, dismantled and shipped to Houston to be refurbished. This was for a project in Hungary. It was cancelled after 2014 and when over 90% refurbished.
Financing was from a German bank.
I have seen all of it in a laydown yard and bid to purchase it in March of 2021.

Ukraine carries out massive drone attack on multiple oil refineries in at least 6 Russian oblasts
If Russia were really in "win at all costs, conquer Europe" mode, you'd think they would use attacking oil refineries as justification to just blow up every power plant within striking distance in Ukraine.

They sure tried in 2022/23. Accuracy not so good though

They already tried that two years ago. They couldn't knock out the power grid and they don't have enough missiles to try it again.

Drone attack causes a massive fire at Lukoil's NORSI oil refinery in the Nizhniy Novgorod region. Lukoil is the world's second largest oil exporter. This is the fourth attack against the region since the start of the year.
Another oil depot was hit in Oryol Oblast.
In total, it is believed over 2 dozen drones were launched towards Russia last night.
Captioned video of fire
Hard Sanctions.

ROME — Pope Francis said that NATO “barking” at Russia’s door may have led to Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine — and said he has offered to meet the Russian president in Moscow.
In an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, Francis reflected on Russia’s lethal aggression toward its neighbor and said while he might not go as far as saying NATO’s presence in nearby countries “provoked” Moscow, it “perhaps facilitated” the invasion.
Francis also condemned the “brutality” of the war and compared it to Rwanda’s civil war in the 1990s, which resulted in a genocide of the Tutsi minority.
The Holy See has been asking since mid-March for a meeting between Francis and Putin in Moscow, the pope said. “Of course we needed the leader of the Kremlin to allocate a window of time. We haven’t yet had any response, and we are still trying, even if I fear that Putin can’t and doesn’t want to have this meeting at this time.”
In the interview, Francis ruled out going to Kyiv for now: “First I have to go to Moscow, first I have to meet Putin.”
Francis said he had canceled a meeting with Patriarch Kirill, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church and a key backer of Putin who has justified the war, as they both thought it would look “ambiguous” — but in a phone call said he warned Kirill not to “turn himself into Putin’s altar boy.”
Since the invasion of Ukraine, Francis has repeatedly criticized the invasion, while avoiding naming Putin explicitly, in line with the Vatican’s foreign policy of keeping the door open for possible dialogue.
The Russian embassy to the Holy See did not immediately respond to phone calls or an emailed request for comment. A spokesman for the Vatican did not respond to request for comment

You do realize that Zelensky denied feeling pressured by Trump, don’t you? Of course not you are the kind of person who is the reason for the caution hot label on coffee cups.

At the current rate, it will take at least two years to clear the right bank of Kherson region of mines.
This was stated by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
"A third of the liberated territories have been surveyed. On this area alone, explosive experts have found and destroyed more than 155,000 mines, tripwires, unexploded shells and other explosives," noted Prokudin.

In evening address, Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih.
"We will inflict losses on the Russian state in response - quite rightly. They in the Kremlin must get used to the fact that terror does not go unpunished for them. Nothing will cure these patients of evil, but they will feel the losses," he said.
In his evening address, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the number of border troops would increase.
"We will increase the number of border troops - both in view of the current tasks of defense against Russian aggression and in anticipation of the long-term protection of the borders of our state after this war," the president said.

They tried that in winter of 2022-2023, but failed. They failed for a few reasons. One reason is because Mother Nature blessed Ukraine and all of Europe with a mild winter, another reason is that while the drones it purchased from Iran were accurate enough to hit the power stations and infrastructure the warheads they carried were strong enough to do permanent damage. The Russians underestimated how fast the Ukrainians with the help of experts from several European countries could repair the power grid. Finally, Russia thought it would be a good idea to target civilians instead of military or infrastructure targets. There are less than 20 bridges across the Dnieper River in all of Ukraine but Russia hasn’t attacked any of the bridges except for blowing the bridge in Kherson when they retreated.

Putin must be trying to imitate Biden by running away from his own border. That is not a good look for Putin just before an election.

Today, the Department of Defense (DoD) announced additional security assistance as an extraordinary measure to address some of Ukraine's most pressing security and defense needs. This announcement is the Biden Administration's fifty-fifth tranche of equipment to be provided from DoD inventories for Ukraine since August 2021. This Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA) package is valued at up to $300 million and includes capabilities to support Ukraine's immediate air defense, artillery, and anti-tank requirements.
With a lack of replacement funds available to replenish DoD inventories, the Administration had been forced to pause PDA packages since December 2023. DoD is able to support this extraordinary package after identifying contract savings from previously appropriated supplemental funding that can be applied to replace DoD stocks. Today's announcement provides a short-term stop gap, but it is nowhere near enough to meet Ukraine's battlefield needs. Without supplemental funding, DoD will remain hard-pressed to meet Ukraine's capability requirements at a time when Russia is pressing its attacks against Ukrainian forces and cities.
The capabilities in this announcement include:
Stinger anti-aircraft missiles;
Additional ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS);
155mm artillery rounds, including High Explosive and Dual Purpose Improved Cluster Munitions rounds;
105mm artillery rounds;
AT-4 anti-armor systems;
Additional rounds of small arms ammunition;
Demolitions munitions for obstacle clearing; and
Spare parts, maintenance, and other ancillary equipment.
