"Our media" is not a thing that one believes or doesn't believe.
Our media is Fox News and MSNBC and CNN and NewsMax, it's Slate and National Review, and it's my local news reporters.
When WAFB tells me that the temperature outside right now is 57 degrees, I absolutely believe them.
If a news outlet tells me that cutting off people's body parts is "gender-affirming care," then no, I don't believe that. Again, part of understanding the world around you is learning to recognize propaganda.
There's nothing more stupid than saying, Person A lied to me, so I will unquestioningly believe Person B.

Gorbachev has stated it didn't happen and stated it happened. But nothing was signed and that's the problem with saying it was agreed to because it wasn't. It would have been written down somewhere and signed by someone if it had. It might have been discussed but that's not the same as agreeing to it. People are arguing over supposed conjecture when there were actual signed documents that don't contain the language of non expansion.

I don’t care if you believe this or not but it is the truth. Could I provide links, yes, already have and some of you either dismiss it without reading/watching or don’t even check the links because, well who the fricks knows you just know to hate Putin. It’s been embedded.
This stupidity needs to be pointed out every time its brought up.
The day of Ukrianian independence terminated any say-so Moscow got about the free association of Ukrainians with other nations.
The Russians were not duped. They were not misled. Hell, they even actively participated *themselves* in the Partnership for Peace program. There were never secret deals, special double blind Russian veto power reservations, etc.
Instead, they have chosen to repeatedly violate agreements which *are* binding, and to which their government *is* a signatory. There is one side to blame here, and it certainly isn't NATO, the West, or Ukraine.

If you haven’t noticed, he has given several other reasons for the war, like Nazis. The truth is he has own personal reasons for expansion and dreams of the old USSR.
So I don’t care what Putin says, because he has lied through his teeth about Ukraine since the beginning. They said they weren’t going to invade, but were planning it all along. Most people have learned not to take a Putin for his word.
Regardless, Putin doesn’t get to decide who joins NATO. And invasion isn’t justified because you made warnings.

Oh, and don't forget, Putin even locked up one of those lying American journalists and has kept him prison without a trial for 10 months already. The Russian Ministry of Truth and the Russian media are absolutely on the same page in ensuring that nothing is spoken except Newspeak.
