The Biden administration said yesterday that they were planning on making Ukraine stronger by the end of 2024. Ukraine requested more M1A1s from the USA and helicopters yesterday. Maybe those in charge learned their lessons from this summer about rushing things.

Russia is at 15% interest rates and still combating inflation. They have elections in March.
Ukraine might not beat Russia, but that doesn’t preclude Russia from beating itself.

Russia's economy is about the size of NY State's. That compared to the EU and America is no juggernaut. The only reason they are a power at all these days is their nuclear arsenal.
The sad thing is that had Russia simply concentrated on developing business and trade, they could have been the trade center between Europe and Asia. Now they have screwed themselves with Putin's Peter the Great delusions.
