Austin is an imbecile. You do realize that right?
Also, allow me to say that when you call someone an imbecile, it hurts your case to do so with incorrect grammar.

quote:Well... let's see. Austin scuttled Ukrainian peacetalks, oversaw the embarrassment of "synchronized retrograde" and abandonment of Americans allies and equipment in Afghanistan, designed the transsexualization of our newly woke military ranks, demanded the culling of military personnel d/t immunization status, and completely miscalculated events leading to the Ukrainian war. He is an absolute clusterfrick of a Defense Secretary.
He's an imbecile.
For what it's worth, the three idiot University Presidents who Elise Stefanik eviscerated last week are book smart as well. Doesn't change the fact they're imbeciles.

Ukraine will not be able to conduct a new offensive until 2025, analysts at The Wall Street Journal said
That makes sense. Ukraine has ordered 400 new tanks and armored vehicles from Rheinmental to be delivered by mid 2025. The Biden administration said yesterday that they were planning on making Ukraine stronger by the end of 2024. Ukraine requested more M1A1s from the USA and helicopters yesterday. Maybe those in charge learned their lessons from this summer about rushing things.

@JuliaDavisNews
Unsurprisingly, Tucker Carlson's blatant mischaracterization of Lloyd Austin's remarks, along with responses from Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, was broadcast on Russian state TV.

It’s not a bad plan.
Let AFU play defense, give them ranged weapons, give them planes and let them win attritional combat.
Russia is at 15% interest rates and still combating inflation. They have elections in March.
Ukraine might not beat Russia, but that doesn’t preclude Russia from beating itself.

This thread is an incredible study on which internet and media sources to trust. God bless NCTigah for having the patience to educate people.
I'm hammered so not sure where I saw it the last few days, but generally speaking, the broSINT bs is basically CIA outpost propaganda and that is why this thread was fooled for two years.

Key Takeaways:
Russian forces have likely committed to offensive operations in multiple sectors of the front during a period of the most challenging weather of the fall-winter season in an effort to seize and retain the initiative prior to the Russian presidential elections in March 2024.
Ukrainian forces, by contrast, appear to be using this period of challenging weather and ongoing Russian offensive operations to establish and consolidate defensive positions along the parts of the frontline where they have not been conducting counteroffensive operations, thereby conserving manpower and resources for future offensive efforts.
The establishment of local defensive positions in areas Kyiv is not prioritizing for current or imminent counteroffensive operations is a prudent step and not an indication that Ukraine has abandoned all plans for future counteroffensives.
The Kremlin-backed United Russia party is spearheading Russian President Vladimir Putin’s nomination as an independent candidate in the 2024 Russian presidential election, and Putin’s re-election campaign initiatives group includes people with a variety of backgrounds and constituencies to create the image of widespread support for Putin’s presidency.
Multiple Russian political opposition figures have reportedly developed a common campaign strategy for the upcoming presidential campaign cycle aimed at compelling Putin to address topics he seeks to avoid and revealing the breadth of Russian opposition against Putin.
Select Russian milbloggers accused the Armenian government of promoting Russophobic policies that inspire violence against Russian media figures in Armenia on December 9.
The European Union (EU) will allow member states to restrict Russian gas imports in an effort to restrain Russian petroleum revenues.
A prominent Russian milblogger claimed that Russian decoy missiles failed to overwhelm Ukrainian air defenses during December 8 missile strikes against Kyiv City.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov highlighted Ukrainian anti-corruption efforts and preparations for the arrival of F-16 fighter jets in the near future on December 9.
Russian forces continued offensive operations along the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line, near Bakhmut, near Avdiivka, west and southwest of Donetsk City, in the Donetsk-Zaporizhia Oblast border area, and in western Zaporizhia Oblast and advanced near Kreminna.
Relatives of mobilized Russian military personnel continued to appeal to the Russian government for the return of their relatives from the war in Ukraine.
The Russian Ministry of Culture continues to orchestrate efforts to Russify Ukrainian children and facilitate their deportation to Russia.

folks like them are a sad case study.
the further out those types went, they eventually got to the point that they had to admit they were wrong for the last 4+ years or outright reject reality.
they chose the latter

Russia's economy is about the size of NY State's. That compared to the EU and America is no juggernaut. The only reason they are a power at all these days is their nuclear arsenal.
The sad thing is that had Russia simply concentrated on developing business and trade, they could have been the trade center between Europe and Asia. Now they have screwed themselves with Putin's Peter the Great delusions.
