It all happened extremely quickly to be fair. Obama did bungle the whole thing though.

Zero hypocrisy. Russia breaking through is the quickest way to end the war. If you and Biden and the MIC have their way this will be Afghanistan 2.0 and go on for 20 years. The people calling themselves "conservatives" and supporting this insanity is where the hypocrisy lies. Anything that Biden, WP, CIA and MIC support unanimously is 100% evil. You're on their side on this.
Whatever you say BRICS boy.

I blame Hillary. I think Obama deferred to her on FO more than he should have. He had better instincts imo. He copied Bush with the surge strategy in Afghanistan, both were successful for a few years at least. Anyways, the buck stops at the top.

The problem was the lack of commitment. Obama was inspired by Brent Scowcroft but there were internal battles with HC and Samantha Power. For me he lacked a clear vision.

Obama had no FP vision outside of his idealism. He chose advisors that were experienced but self centered and playing a game that ended a generation earlier.

Key Takeaways:
Russian President Vladimir Putin revealed his continuing concern over the potential threats that the Wagner Group and Yevgeny Prigozhin may pose to him through symbolism and posturing during a meeting with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Lukashenko told Putin that the Wagner Group in Belarus will remain in central Belarus likely subtly reminding Putin of the threat the Wagner military organization still poses to him and underlining Lukashenko’s control over that power.
Putin and Lukashenko also amplified information operations targeting the West.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told CNN on July 23 that Ukrainian forces have liberated approximately 50 percent of the territory that Russian forces captured since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in February 2022.
Ukrainian forces continued counteroffensive operations on at least three sectors of the front line and advanced on July 23.
Russian forces conducted another series of missile strikes against port infrastructure and the city center in Odesa City overnight on July 22 to 23, severely damaging civilian areas
Further speculation about former Russian officer and ardent nationalist Igor Girkin’s arrest and the public posturing of Girkin’s affiliates suggests that a limited section of the pro-war community may have been contemplating political action in opposition to the Kremlin.
Angry Patriots members likely view Girkin’s arrest as an existential threat to the segment of the ultranationalist community he represents and will likely intensify their campaign to cast Girkin as an opposition figure.
The Kremlin may be attempting to censor an isolated segment of the Russian ultranationalist community that is consistently vocally hostile to the Kremlin.
The head of one of the largest suppliers of surveillance equipment to Russian special services died on July 22.
Russian forces continued offensive operations along the Svatove-Kreminna line and reportedly made tactically significant gains.
Ukrainian forces continued counteroffensive operations along the Svatove-Kreminna line and in the Bakhmut area, and reportedly made gains near Bakhmut.
Russian forces continued offensive operations in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka-Donetsk City areas but did not advance.
Ukrainian forces continued offensive operations in the western Donetsk-eastern Zaporizhia oblasts border area and in western Zaporizhia Oblast and advanced.
Russian forces conducted limited ground attacks in the western Donetsk-eastern Zaporizhia oblasts border area.
The Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) continues to recruit prisoners to fight in Ukraine.
Russian occupation authorities are bringing foreign citizens to occupied Ukraine to artificially alter demographics.

I don't agree with all of this but most of it's true.

Is this really that big of a secret?
I remember reading somewhere that stealth aircraft have radar signatures but you either have to turn the radar sensitivity way up which makes you see birds and shite or you can see “something” but it’s cross signature is so jacked up you don’t know what it is.
I mean this website even tells you what the size of the f22s signature is LINK

For comparison, the 5G F-22 has an RCS of 0.0001m2, about the size of a bumble bee. The U2 and SR-71 spy planes have an RCS of 0.01m2, about the size of a small bird. Our first stealth fighter/bomber was the F-117 Nighthawk from the 1980s. It has an RCS of 0.003m2, about the size of a hummingbird

Per Wiki and my recollection, Qaddafi was still trying to work on nuclear weapons development.
"In October 2003, U.S. intelligence agencies raided a cargo ship and seized a consignment of centrifuge-related equipment bound for Libya in a northern Mediterranean port.[8] The U.S. investigations revealed that many of these components were manufactured by a Scomi Precision Engineering facility in Malaysia and were produced under the technical guidance of Dr. A.Q. Khan and various nationals from the United Kingdom, Germany and Switzerland.[8] After the news became public, Libyan nuclear ambitions were cooled and demoralized.[8]"

I guess it is. Don't know enough of the details as to why, but that's what they do.

When any stealth plan opens its doors or bomb bays it may as well be a 737. That’s how the Serbians shot down an F-117. As far as I know the F-22 didn’t really participate in any of the wars the US has fought in the past 25 years outside of some high altitude bombing raids meant solely to get a colonel a medal for no real reason. They’re stationed in Alaska and DC for a reason.

Absolutely. The worst was Obama saying the chemical weapons would be a red line, and then Assad used chemical weapons and the US did nothing.
It was just absolute, shameful weakness. We should have either completely kept our mouths shut and said that it was none of our business, or we should have gone hard for the rebels before their operations got taken over by jihadi groups. Obama's actions were just about the worst possible.
And then, he was so determined to get all of our troops out of Iraq that he allowed ISIS to conquer Mosul, threaten Erbil, and then we had to go back in. The final net result of all that Iraq ended up with a permanent Iranian military presence in the country, which has absolutely wrecked their political system.
That's besides Benghazi.
It's hard to know what was worse: Obama's Middle-East policy or his Russia policy. But now Obama has his stan SirWinston here saying that Obama's Russia policy was good, and that we should allow Russia to have a "sphere of influence" where it's allowed to invade whoever it wants.
But we also got SirWinston in here insisting that a nation where 6% of its people attend weekly religious services is a "Christian" nation. (The US has about six times that percentage of people who go to church weekly, but we're supposedly a hopelessly woke and corrupt nation.)

An interesting amendment added to the defense appropriations bill. The uni- party globalists in our government are trying to make it harder for a single person to pull the US out of NATO.
“The Senate on Wednesday passed a provision to the annual defense bill that would make it more difficult for a U.S. president to withdraw from NATO, a precautionary measure against former President Donald Trump’s potential return to the White House.
The bipartisan amendment to the fiscal 2024 National Defense Authorization Act would not allow the president to withdraw from NATO without congressional approval, requiring two-thirds of senators to vote for withdrawal. Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., introduced the amendment alongside Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla, which senators adopted in a 65-28 vote.”

stealth planes are absolutely visibile in some radar frequencies. their "stealth" comes into play with the kind of radar that weapons systems use, because the low frequencies needed to "see" the planes are VERY difficult to use to get a lock on a target and then track the weapon to said target. so, they can be very visible, and basically every single adversary would see an f35/22 coming, but they are VERY difficult to shoot down

And in spite of this awesome new readiness of the Russian Army, Ukraine has regained HALF of the lands it lost in the opening days of the war. Yes, tell us all about the vaunted Russian military.

British Defence Intelligence
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 24 July 2023
All Russian school children are to be taught the basics of operating combat drones. Russian Senator Artem Sheikin announced that the lessons will include how to conduct terrain reconnaissance and ways to counter enemy uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs).
The UAV lessons join assault rifle training, hand grenade skills and combat first aid in the revised 'Basics of Life Safety' syllabus for year 10 and 11 students, due to be mandated from 1 September 2023.
Russia's renewed emphasis on military induction for children is largely an effort to cultivate a culture of militarised patriotism rather than develop genuine capability. However, the addition of UAV skills does highlight how Russia has identified the use of tactical UAVs in Ukraine as an enduring component of contemporary war.
