I think that most people in Ukraine are rooting for Prigozhin right now, because a Prigozhin victory might mean an immediate Russian withdrawal from Ukraine.

I'm not. This is the scenario that the entire world was worried about: a civil war in Russia with nukes up for grabs and control of the country potentially in the hands of an unstable warlord back by thousands of violent criminals.

Remember 1991, when people got bumper stickers that said "Vote for the Crook"? That's kinda how I feel right now. Root for Putin to win.

Ukraine is ultimately going to win its war either way.

There's a huge question right now whether anyone is going to fight Wagner on its way into Moscow.

Prigozhin is betting that no one will actually want to fight them. He might be right.

Dunno and good question. Really doubt this coups succeeds, but if this started off with trying to take Kyiv in 3 days but ends up with Moscow falling in 3 days…

Holy shite he’s staging a full fledged military coup? That’s going to pull troops from Ukraine if the rumor that Putin has over 90% of his army in Ukraine are true. I’m quite sure Putin still has several divisions still defending both Moscow and St. Petersburg. This literally means the lifespan of Prigozhin is most likely pretty short from here so he has no choice but to go for the gold. That’s wild. And good for Ukraine, especially if they divert troops from the front lines.

His telegram channel is still active, but he had people admining and posting on it while he did the legwork at the front.

There hasn't been any recent video of him.

Might be right. The terrible irony would be Prigozhin to win and then “take the gloves off” in Ukraine.

If Priggy were to win this (I don't believe he will) I see no scenario where he would pull Russians out of Ukraine. He might double down.

Same wavelength if he continues as is, which of course is entirely unknown. All depends on the response from Putin and MOD to stop him.
