We’re probably approaching a point where both sides logistical support systems are so wrecked neither one will be able to support much more of a brigade sized offensive for very long. Ukraine would probably benefit more from the West giving them 1,000 semis more than 1,000 AFVs.

If that’s the case then it would be pointless for Ukraine to even launch this offensive as a single brigade is incapable of achieving anything more than a localized breakthrough that would not alter the greater strategic situation in any appreciable fashion.

The Ukrainian assault last night was the arrow to the right on this map from @NOELreports. Now, there are a number of reports on an assault to the east, close to the reservoir. That's the arrow on the left.

Russia is claiming they’re doing better today with their third string soldiers against NATO equipment and troops than they did at the beginning of the war. That makes their claims suspicious, at best.

I've seen numerous statements from the Russian side claiming losses in the last 24 hours. I'll find some of them when I get a little time later today

I think without either side seriously upgrading their logistic/supply support systems there probably won't be any massive gains or movement by either side. Irrelevant how many Leopards or artillery tubes you have if you can't get fuel or ammo to them.

I mean, I could link to several videos from the last couple of days showing Russian tanks getting knocked out, including a t-90 from this morning. Nobody really cares to see that, though because that's not unusual. Russian tanks get knocked out every day.

OXYX documents equipment losses that can be visually confirm on their website. and both side are losing tanks, so nothing new.
i wouldn't expect to start out with a massive assault. Ukraine would look to probe for weakness and look to get Russia to commit its reserves.
Think of RIF as a play action pass intended to get a safety (reserves) to commit to stop the run, then you look to pass where you now have man coverage (area that no longer has a significant counter attack reserve force that can be called in to plug/push back a breakthrough
