Reports of a strike in Mariupol that has targeted a underground bunker that may have had high ranking Russians in it at the time, including Shoigu as he was meant to visiting a command post in Zaporizhzhia Oblast today according to Russian MoD.
As Oliver notes, we won't know if any of below the pictured gentlemen were there at the time of the strike (the photo itself is from an earlier photo op several weeks ago), but regardless it will weaken Russian command and control in the region.

What kind of missile most likely was used for that?

From Olivers thread.

It was a former Ukrainian military installation. Likely that Russian forces were using it as a command post at this time.
With the distance from the frontline, it was probably another Storm Shadow strike.
I agree that is the most likely case as it is about 70 miles from the frontline so definitely not HIMARS or JDAM equipped munitions.

This person will undoubtedly run back to the Poliboard and complain about how mean we were.
As far as Bakhmut is concerned, it's capture by Wagner is certainly a morale boost for Russian forces. That's why we got the inevitable Politard invasion here today. That's not nothing.
And during the winter and early spring, the Ukrainian defense of Bakhmut was important for Ukrainian morale. But since then, Ukraine has gotten Patriot, Leopards, Storm Shadow, and the promise of Abrams and F-16s. So, Ukrainian morale has never been higher.
Bakhmut never had any great strategic importance -- it's importance was all symbolic. Russia is not going to advance from there towards Kramatorsk; in fact, in the last few days, Russia has been trying to take out the bridges from Bakhmut towards Chasiv Yar (the next town in that direction), to try to slow the Ukrainian advance around Bakhmut's flanks.
But, it's going to be very interesting to see what happens now with Wagner. I do not think that they will stay and defend against the upcoming Ukrainian offensive, as Wagner's entire force structure is set up to attack, not defend. Nor do I think that Prigozhin wants any of the blame for any Ukrainian success.
But if Wagner simply turns Bakhmut over to Russian forces and leaves, that will simply thin out Russian forces even more in that area and open it up for a Ukrainian attack, unless Russia deploys significant reserves there. So, if Wagner leaves, then I'm not sure that today is a good day for Russia.
Unlike how some pro-Russian fans choose to interpret today:

ts not just the equipment its the training. I knew there would be some Ukrainians at Sill but there are hundreds there if not more. And remember, there is training going on in the UK, Poland, Germany, and other western countries.

Its a much more sane position to take than yours. I don't believe the Russians or Ukranians.
Even if I conceded Ukraine media might be more reliable, it's just so tiresome that in this thread every story of Russia hitting a viable target is a lie and every story of Ukraine killing civilians is a fabrication.
I've said it 100 times but the fact that we have amateur students of US foreign policy/military intervention in here and they're just barging past every safety barrier with reckless abandon...I simply do not understand it. You don't have to be pro-Russia or an isolationist to acknowledge how frequently American hubris leads to bad outcomes.

Are you serious??? Are you saying posters here effect US foreign policy and world events??? Come in man, people just bring need here, give opinions and discuss what is going on in Ukraine.
No one here us advising Zelensky, Putin or Biden.

They’re emotionally invested in this war for some reason. The outcome won’t affect their personal lives one way or the other. It’s basically a game thread on the rant where all the posters are homers incapable of looking at the game objectively.

Better than supporting Iran and China in a proxy war, like you are. “America first.”

I'm supporting the END of this proxy war and the end of genocide of Christian lads in their teens, twenties, and thirties.

What? It’s a thread devoted to unceasing and limitless involvement in a foreign war. This take is unimaginable to me and exactly what I’m talking about- “US citizens rallying for deepened involvement in war in Europe is irrelevant to what the US actually does.”
That’s either insane, depressing or both.
