Yeah, I am going to assume that his stepfather and stepbrother outrank him and that's how the perp got some of this access.

At least I hope that's the explanation.

The Russian T-90 tank is still at Peto's Truck Stop on I-10 near Jennings.

quote:

The T-90A is modern by Russian standards, having been introduced two decades ago, which makes its puzzling voyage from battlefield Ukraine to a truck stop in Louisiana all that much more puzzling.

“I’ve been here seven years,” assistant manager Valerie Mott told The War Zone Thursday morning. “I’ve never seen [a tank] here before.”

Neither Mott nor manager Cody Sellers knew who left the tank, where it came from, or where it was heading.

“The transmission went out on the truck that was hauling this big old trailer,” said Sellers.

Whoever was hauling the tank had to go back to Houston and get a new truck and asked if they could store it at Peto’s, said Mott, adding that she is not concerned about security.

“We have guards 24 hours a day,” she said.

The Drive wasn't able to figure out where the tank is headed, except that it's NOT going to Fort Polk or to the Army's Red River Depot in in New Boston, Texas.

What have we leaned about the war from these documents?

I have read through everyone I have found rather extensively on 4chan and telegram. My biggest takeaway is that the West/nations supporting Ukraine are unable to keep up with the burn rate of ammunition for artillery or AA weapons. Ukraine is almost completely depleted of their stocks of AA and arty they had before the war and the wests weapons are different systems than the Ukies have been using. Current advanced weapons deliveries are unable to fill the void that is happening as the Ukrainians run out of their stocks. Because of this the outlook for the anticipated spring Ukrainian counteroffensive is not good. Russia is dug in and even though they’ve burned through so much of their own equipment then still have hordes more and are being able to better outsource some stuff they need whereas the Ukrainians have been unable to. Unless Ukraine can achieve some sort of surprise with this counteroffensive or the Western toys really are as good as we think they are (which judging from the issues the Ukies have had with JDAMs in said documents is not the case) then the long term outlook for Ukraine is grim.

We really need to get American boots on the ground out there. It's the only way to save Ukraine.

That would be really interesting and a coup if true. I'd like to say I couldn't imagine the US allowing an Abrams to be captured on the field without us turning it into a burned out husk first.

i would think the imminent capture of certain US/NATO equipment could possibly involve actual US/NATO assets to make sure that didnt happen.

Even to the point of a US/NATO team or a/c destroying the asset

ChrisO_wiki has had an interesting, six-part twitter series on military campaigns in Crimea. His final one examines Ukrainian prospects for retaking Crimea from Russia, and he finds such a campaign extremely unlikely to succeed.

On the other hand, he assumes that Ukraine does not have Storm Shadow missiles. Personally, I think that the UK was "clear" that they were giving Storm Shadow to Ukraine. I base that on the fact that PM Sunak bragged that the UK was the first to give Ukraine long-range strike weapons, and Storm Shadow is the only such thing that this could mean. All of the British press said, "Oh, this means that we're giving Storm Shadow," and no one denied it. Also, Ukrainian leaders don't talk about Storm Shadow anymore, though they talk about their need for F-16s and ATACMS every day. So, I think it's very safe to say that Ukraine has some Storm Shadow missiles, though we don't know how many.

But Storm Shadow can hit Kerch and every port in Crimea and could truly make it possible for Ukraine to blockade the peninsula. In the long term, that will change everything about the strategic calculus.

We talked about that stuff a few days ago.

The paper analyzing Ukraine's prospects in a spring offense is from early February. Since then, the US has given a massive amount of aid, some $4.6 billion -- specifically to boost the offensive's chances of success, and our NATO allies have chipped in almost as much.

And the paper saying that Ukraine would run out of air defense rockets? That was based on the rate of Russian cruise missiles at that point, and that rate has since significantly declined. And, again, since that report, NATO allies have promised additional air defense systems. Ukraine isn't going to run out of air defense.

So, your analysis would be very sound if you were giving it on March 1st, before the last two Ramstein conferences and billions of dollars of aid to address the very shortcomings you mention.

That paper said that 87% of Ukraine’s air defenses were still Soviet era systems and that those were the missiles they were almost out of. I highly doubt we have made up that much in a month.

If that were close to being the case the war would have ended last year. The only place those numbers have been seen was on third-hand "Mossad" reports that came from a Hezbollah newspaper that many report only as being from Mossad. Then of course there is the photoshopped US leaked reports.

There are no numbers you can take as fact in the public sphere but anyone thinking 7-1 is remotely accurate has not been paying attention.

Please enlighten us on how an attacking force that was driven out of most major Ukrainians cities since their invasion and in their great winter assault has managed to take back a small portion of land, around 20 km's in total, has managed to lose 1 Russian to every 7 Ukrainians? Do you lack any critical thinking skills or are you really this stupid?

Now that we know that US forces are on the ground in Ukraine and we will soon be pulled into this war, you guys still think this war was the greatest thing ever?

Looking forward to a nuclear exchange for WW3. If they only hit the major cities this might actually be a good thing.

- Tuckerites scream that equipment is going to Ukraine with no accountability

- To the 14 men whose primary duty is guarding the US embassy in Kyiv, we assign additional duties of tracking the equipment we've sent, and Tuckerites scream that we're putting boots on the ground in Ukraine.

Like, everyone knows that this is stupid, but y'all say it anyway? Why? Why do you intentionally try to make yourself look stupid? Do you think that hanging a "I'm Stupid" sign on your neck makes you more attractive to stupid women?

The leaked info was that we have special ops in Ukraine. I don’t think that’s just 14 guys guarding an embassy.
