Russia used Belarus to help train soldiers after the big mobilization last fall. Now, guys are as trained as they are going to get. Lukashenko has kept Belarus out of direct conflict with Ukraine, so there's no more reason for any Russian equipment in Belarus.

Call me crazy, but I think that these six Finnish Leopard 2 tanks repurposed with mine plows are more valuable to Ukraine's offensive than six more regular Leopard 2 tanks (with guns) would be. Mine clearance is key to Ukraine's ability to conduct its offensive with the speed that they need.
I think that both sides of this conflict have really suffered from a lack of mine clearing equipment. In Kherson last fall, Russia was able to calmly and safely evacuate its troops and equipment across the Dnipro, because Ukraine lacked the ability to clear mines and pursue. The flip side is that so much of the recent Russian disaster at Vuhledar is their lack on mine-clearing equipment.

Russia has a very effective mine clearing weapon. They send tanks and armored vehicles straight into the mines…..

On a side note I also love how the PT will take any confirmation bias source as gospel and if you question it or show why it's probably not right they demand you provide your first hand account from the front line without a hint of irony
