That's the correct answer. I'm not sure what you're looking for.

Russia is reported to have over 100k casualties. But that’s not dead. That’s KIA, wounded, and MIA.

He'll criticize the US for giving them old M1A1's and not A2s.

I imagine he'll start asking for Apaches

This Forbes article has breakdowns for various categories of equipment provided to the Afghani Army prior to it's fall.

Forbes - Cost of US Military Equipment Left In Afghanistan

Do note that while the article briefly mentions additional equipment sent from 2017-2019, the majority of it is based on a report only going up to 2016.

There isn't anything about tanks noted in that report nor could I find any reference elsewhere regarding US tanks being over there as part of the Afghani Army.

This Oryx article for the period of June to mid August lists captured/destroyed vehicles, the only tanks mentioned are Soviet era T-54/55/62s

Oryx Disaster At Hand

US tanks could be left out due to information sensitivity, but there doesn't appear to be any record of anything beyond military trucks, humvees and MRAPs being sent there based on the above links and also on Wikipedia.

Wikipedia List of Afghani Army Equipment

I don't know enough about the tech/mechanics of the above but doubt there would be much of worth for Russia to glean from studying them?

I wonder what the colonists ask for from France, Spain, and The Netherlands.

It won’t stop him from asking when healthy troops are needed. Shiny equipment can’t operate itself.

I said it will eventually lead to him asking..

Here we are, billions in money sent, probably more billions in equipment sent, and you pretend his requests have not escalated.

What will Zelensky be asking for at that point?

If you give a Uke a javelin, he’s going to kill a Russian and ask for a tank.

If you give a Uke a tank, he’s going to kill a Russian and ask for a jet.

If you give a Uke a jet, he’s going to kill a Russian and ask to join NATO.

well then how the hell do you see this ending?

Ukraine using western technology to destroy the rail bridges near the border of the Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts which practically cuts the GLOC between the Donbas and Mother Russia. Then uses western technology to keep the rail lines in Crimea from reaching the front. Then finally in either late summer or early fall the Ukrainians break through the Russian defensive lines in the Zaporizhzhia oblast and rush into Crimea. This along with the Russian economic collapse causes Putin to succumb to complications of thyroid cancer and regime change in Russia and a negotiated peace.

Was it Norway this week that said intelligence estimates put the number at 180K KIA/WIA/Missing for Russia?

Right. Except that Ukraine asked for tanks and jets at the beginning of the war. The real question is not "What will Ukraine ask for next?" but rather "Why has the West been so slow in getting Ukraine the equipment it needs to win?"

New: Norway’s military chief said around 180,000 Russian troops have been killed or injured in Ukraine so far. “Russian losses are beginning to approach around 180,000 dead or wounded soldiers,” and “Ukrainian losses are probably over 100,000 dead or wounded,” Defense Minister Eirik Kristoffersen told TV2 on Sunday. He also said an estimated 30,000 civilians have been killed in the war so far, though he didn’t elaborate on how he arrived at any of his numbers.

Questioning stupid policy is pro Russian thinking now?

Cheap and lame.

You do recognize the people running this war are human, and have made terrible mistakes in judgement before right?

This is true on both sides.

We are escalating a conflict that is in no way a vital American interest.

It's not zero interest but it's not critical.

Russia's population is more than 3 times that of Ukraine.

What happens when the western weapons aren't enough and it's western soldiers that are needed to use and maintain the western weapons?

No one will support that outside of Washington DC.

This will be settled at a negotiating table and the sooner the better.

Wtf is he gonna do about it anyway? He can’t even beat a country with 1/4 the population and without crossing an ocean because they were given some old arse tanks just like they have and some artillery.
