If we are sending out older stuff, are we really doing that much "testing"

They’re confusing because you’re talking out of your arse and drawing conclusions from data you don’t have.

What conclusions am I drawing, beyond concluding that the mainline MAGA position is internally contradictory?

In your opinion, what message is that meme intending to convey?

Those weapons were tested decades ago. There’s nothing on this planet that rivals our Air to Ground, Air to Air, Ground to air, etc…

The idea that we’re sending weapons to test our defenses against Russia is laughable.

Our 30-40+ year old gen 4 fighters would end the air war in a night one package. Full Stop.

Their IADS are dangerous, but would be on the short course to obsolescence.

T-34 was actually a piece of shite but they had the advantage in numbers like you mentioned as well as being the first tank to implement sloped armor which increased it’s survivability without adding extra weight. The Soviet T-34 didn’t have communications between other tanks like the Germans did either so their tactics were pretty much nonexistent. The Germans would stop, acquire a target and fire then maneuver and then repeat since they had a much longer range on their gun than the T-34. The best tactic the Soviets really had was an all out charge at the Germans and either ram them or hopefully get behind the German tank to shoot it in the arse where it was most vulnerable. No doubt the Soviets preferred the Sherman to their own though just like they loved the P-39 Airacobra. If any one item from the USA won the war for the Soviets though it wasn’t a plane or tank but the Studebaker truck in which we sent 150,000.

I am not an elitist. I am a naturally cynical person, though. Someone lacking self-awareness would never acknowledge such.

That was taken directly from Russian State TV. I have linked multiple clips here. If you are truly interested in watching them I will track them down for you and repost links.

Russia imports the vast majority of its clothing, inlcuding winter clothing. It might be good to know who is exporting to them.

GWB also ordered parts of the 6th Fleet to move from the eastern Mediterranean to the Black Sea. Russia agreed to a ceasefire when the first American ships entered the Bosporus.

This little video is truly incredible. I recommend everybody watch it several times, to let it sink in. It says so much about why Russia is losing this war. A short thread.

I do not see how people can say that Russian troops are undisciplined and poorly trained. It takes a lot of training and discipline to remain in a hole in the ground while drones are dropping grenades in it.

Between Obtuse and CitizenK the OT has more insider Ukraine and Russia knowledge than the CIA

LOL. You don't have to be an insider. Russians talk on TV all the time about how much they love Trump.

easily old enough for your mom to give me all those BJ's if she lived in SW LA in the 70's.

My business puts me in touch with a very interesting cast of characters in a cross section of almost all manufacturing sectors. I'm pretty much a high end Fred Sanford type of guy.

I sure wish that someone in Ukr would buy a shredded wood fired boiler which produces steam for a 12MW generator from me. They have plenty of wood debris to fuel it. California would rather leave tree tops and limbs from logging operations as fuel for forest fires. The wood smoke intefers with their weed smoking it seems

Even Mearsheimer was against Ukraine handing over their nukes because they were a deterrent to Russian aggression.

I wonder what caused him to change his tune about Russia, including misstating facts.

Not really testing anything other than the pallet of switchblade drones we sent. Mostly older and tried in battle weapons from deep storage

In fairness, other than the random person I interact with, the PT is my primary source of all that is MAGA. Right or wrong, I basically consider them one and the same. Though watching the Trump/DeSantis split has been mildly interesting

We shouldn’t be sending billions of taxpayers dollars in the form of superior western weapons to wage a proxy war with a nuclear power that’s months, maybe weeks away from being backed into a corner with only a nuclear option. I believe the Biden campaign claimed to be the adults in the room.

That’s why MAD exists.
