Pipeline or compressor station? I see what could be a compressor station on Google Satellite view. Definitely an industrial area there.

IMO, likely culprit is Russian incompetence.

I guess parts of Europe will be freezing this winter, just not the parts OML predicted. Please hold your shock.

British PM Rishi Sunak just visited Kyiv and promised another $50 million or so in aid, including "125 anti-aircraft guns."

I'm been reading some speculation about what that means, as the British military does not currently use anything like the German Gepard. Some people are speculating that the British are buying the guns from another country.

But, it sounds like these would be very effective drone killers.

Speaking of drones, Ukraine hit the Russian naval base and oil terminal at Novorossiysk. Developing story.

There is something similar at Barksdale also. There is a staffing service that supplies them with a steady stream of zero skilled workers to act as civilians. I'm 100% certain of this. I knew a guy that did it for several months.

There is also an actual company town donated to the Feds by Phelps Dodge, when the copper smelter closed at Playas, NM. I think that DHS uses that one.

He’ll have to put dummy nuclear warheads on more of the stockpile reserved for nuclear missiles. Great strategy by the West, take away Russia’s nuclear capability one dummy warhead at a time.

Key Takeaways

Russian forces are reportedly beginning to reinforce their positions in occupied Luhansk, Donetsk, and eastern Zaporizhia oblasts with personnel from Kherson Oblast and mobilized servicemen.

US intelligence officials stated that Russian and Iranian officials finalized a deal in early November to manufacture Iranian drones on Russian territory.

Ukrainian forces continued counteroffensive operations on the Svatove-Kreminna line.

Russian forces maintained their offensive operations around Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and west of Donetsk City despite reports of high losses around Bakhmut.

Russian forces continued efforts to fortify areas around ground lines of communication in southern Ukraine while struggling with the partial loss of the use of the Kerch Strait Bridge.

Russian media sources continued active discussions of an impending second wave of mobilization.

The number of Russian prisoners appears to have dropped by about 6.5% since January of 2022 likely due to intensive Wagner Group recruitment.

Russian authorities are working to establish control over the information space in occupied territories and identify Ukrainian partisans.

The first thing I thought was that is a picture of El Gaucho at 5 years old when he got home from his first welding class. Innocence lost and already a golden arm able to run slick root passes on x-ray pipelines.

UPDATE ON UKRAINE
20 November 2022
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE

Russia's recent withdrawal from west of Kherson was conducted in relatively good order compared to previous major Russian retreats during the war.

During the retreat, vehicle losses were likely in the tens rather than hundreds, while much kit that was left behind was successfully destroyed by Russian forces to deny it to Ukraine.

This relative success is likely partially due to a more effective, single operational command under General Sergei Surovikin. However, the force remains riven by poor junior and mid-level leadership and cover-up culture. For example, in recent months two companies subordinate to the Eastern Military District fled after their commander was killed. Other officers likely lied in an attempt to cover up the incident.

Exactly what a friend was taught in the USMC late 80's about fighting the Soviets. Kill the leadership and the rest melt into the surrounding area not knowing what to do

We’ve discussed at length ITT propagandas role in war. That picture will be used in books discussing this war around the world, whether it’s staged/shopped or not. So yes, the real kid likely used for it will be part of history.
