Russia has announced that compulsory military training, the same as during the Soviet era, will be introduced in Russia's high school curriculums starting in 2023 - TASS

Russia is already taking steps to prepare for another attempt at recreating the Russian Empire. Unfortunately, the only way to have is peace is to defeat and embarrass the Russians.

Also as long as there are Russian soldiers on Ukrainian soil we have not met our obligations as far as the Budapest Memorandum is considered. Why are libertarians giant pussies? It would be one thing if Ukraine was asking for American troops to be deployed and fight the Russians but that is not what is going on. Ukraine is just asking for weapons and the USA and the EU have 300 billion USD worth of frozen Russian bank accounts to pay ourselves back with when the war is over. What is the issue other than being a pussy and worried about Putain dropping a nuke?

Exactly. I thought I had clicked on the wrong thread.

The Ukrainians - who will make any decisions about the end of this war and no one else - need to keep killing Russians until they are back behind the pre-2014 borders. Bleed them white. The continued sanctions will force the Russians to return all kidnapped Ukrainian citizens and thirdly, massive, massive financial reparations must be made to Kiev. Nothing less.

The West will not stop sending weapons, this support is a huge benefit to the free world both now and especially in the future. We are talking about the removal of the greatest threat to peace in the world today and hopefully the break-up of Russia into multiple independent states. That will permanently end Russia as a terrorist state.

Now is not the time to take their foot off the throats of the Russians. Now is the time to massacre these sons of bitches and never stop.

What clout militarily other than Nukes (big clout) does Russia have at this point?

Seems the Ukrainians have started an amphibious attack at the Kimburn Peninsula to flank the Russians. Looking for verification, but huge if true.

Non nuke subs are not really a problem and they don't really help you in a ground war.

Something is up. I posted earlier that Sullivan had been talking to the Russians. Milley is now pumping negotiations and saying that the G20 would be a good place to start the negotiations. I believe that Biden and Co.are pressuring the Ukrainians to negotiate. Rumors from Europe that the Russian withdrawal was part of this. Now all of a sudden this news starts coming out.

These videos are just incredible. I’ve experienced a lot in life. (Thankfully) have never experienced being apart of a liberating vanguard in my own country.

The emotion is just impossible to comprehend.

They help enforce a blockage and give a country the ability to launch cruise missiles against a target in a stealthy fashion.

Why cares what the polidiots think?

Some of us are old enough to have experienced a world strongly tainted by Soviet imperialism, for decades.

Finally, the USSR falls and now the Russians want to bring it back?

No, can’t let that happen.

Anyone who thinks this is in anyway even remotely possible shouldn’t be allowed to procreate.

You REALLY REALLY think this is a possibility? That Russia is going to bring back the USSR?

Really?

I bet you believed Saddam had nuclear weapons, too…

This conflict has proven that Russia isn't even close to being able to bring that kind of force to bear, and likely will never be able to again. You're fighting the ghost of a paper tiger.

In Crimea, Ukraine’s Armed Forces to be greeted with Ukrainian flags, too – Zelenskyy
KATERYNA TYSHCHENKO — Saturday, 12 November 2022, 20:33

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine is convinced that after Crimea is liberated, local residents will greet the Armed Forces of Ukraine with Ukrainian flags just like they do now in Kherson.

Source: evening appeal of the president

Quote: "It will be the same in Henichesk and Melitopol. We will also come to all our cities and villages of Donbas.

We will definitely see how in Crimea, the Ukrainian forces will be met with Ukrainian flags, which people keep there; hundreds of these will be on the streets there on the day of liberation."

Details: Zelenskyy thanked the soldiers of the 28th and 63rd separate mechanised brigades and the 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, Scouts, Special Operations Forces and National Guard forces "for brilliantly performing tasks for the liberation of Kherson."

Had zelensky fled, Kiev fell and ugly Germans kept the gas flowing a return of the USSR would have been on the table. The jungle always grows back.
