The poliboard is celebrating Netanyahu's apparent victory. Should we tell them he favors aid to Ukraine?
He sure as hell ain’t shy about confronting Iran. If Iran continues sending missiles to Russia, Netanyahu may decide to mess with the Iranians a little.

They totally missed on that prediction. So many Russians have been killed or captured that the food stocks have lasted longer than predicted.

The last thing the Israelis want is for Iran to have advanced drone technology.

If you believe the call intercepts many of the soldiers are begging their families to put money on their cards so they can buy food and water at local stores.
Here is an interesting translation of some parts of the manual written for troops headed to Ukraine. I linked to the part for officers (previously in the video it talks about enlisted troops) where it talks about the things they need that The Ministry of Defence does not provide. It also tells them to take minimum ammo etc to prevent them from the temptation to actually fight the enemy.
YT
It should link to about 4:35 into the video.

I wonder what happened to BrianKellyRespector, Ruff Fish, and Lima Whiskey. Did they get mobilized or did they get fired for not changing our minds about Ukraine?
If they got mobilized, I truly hope they survive.
The odds are not in their favor

Holy crap! The first video was also included in the link and I hadn’t seen it. I know there was a lot of discussion last night about it but I have covid and was too addled to follow along.
Thanks for making it available again. It’s hard to believe how very far that Russian soldier was thrown from the tank.

Russian forces are continuing to withdraw some elements from northwestern Kherson Oblast, but it is still unclear if Russian forces will fight for Kherson City.

Russian forces prematurely impaled an insufficient concentration of mobilized personnel on offensive pushes near Bakhmut and Vuhledar, Donetsk Oblast, wasting the fresh supply of mobilized personnel on marginal gains towards operationally insignificant settlements.

Russian outlets continued to publish confused reports regarding the dismissal and replacement of Colonel General Alexander Lapin from either his role as the commander of the Central Military District (CMD) or as the commander of the Russian “central” forces in Ukraine

Russian authorities may be setting conditions to imminently transfer the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) to the Russian power grid following the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) November 3 statements affirming that Ukrainian authorities are not misusing nuclear materials

Key Takeaways
It is still unclear whether Russian forces will defend Kherson City despite the ongoing withdrawal of some Russian elements from northwestern Kherson Oblast.
Russian forces prematurely deployed newly mobilized personnel to offensive operations in western Donetsk Oblast in the pursuit of minimal and operationally insignificant territorial gains.
Russian outlets continued to publish contradictory and confusing reports about the dismissal of Colonel General Alexander Lapin from the position of CMD commander or commander of the Russian “central” forces.
Russian authorities may be setting conditions to imminently transfer the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant to the Russian power grid.
Russian sources claimed that Ukrainian forces continued to conduct counteroffensive operations in the direction of Kreminna and Svatove.
Russian forces continued offensive operations around Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Donetsk City.
The Russian military continues to face pronounced issues in the supply of critical military equipment.
The Russian Ministry of Defense is likely continuing mobilization efforts covertly.

British Defence Intelligence
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 04 November 2022
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
Due to low morale and reluctance to fight, Russian forces have probably started deploying "barrier troops" or "blocking units". These units threaten to shoot their own retreating soldiers in order to compel offensives and have been used in previous conflicts by Russian forces.
Recently, Russian generals likely wanted their commanders to use weapons against deserters, including possibly authorising shooting to kill such defaulters after a warning had been given. Generals also likely wanted to maintain defensive positions to the death.
The tactic of shooting deserters likely attests to the low quality, low morale and indiscipline of Russian forces.

Man, there is a lot of qualifying language in that update. If true, the Russian force is deteriorating from the inside out. But the language used makes it sound like speculation.

This is nothing new. Russian troop discipline has been terrible for as long as anyone can remember. They are just a different type of people. Human life isn’t worth anything to them. The way they see it is the more bodies they send at Ukrainian positions the more artillery, mortar and small arms munitions they have to expend killing them.

This is the biggest part of today's announced US Department of Defense $400 million aid package for Ukraine.
The other big part of this package is the HAWK air defense systems that were already known to be in this package.
I don't think the full details of this aid package have been released yet.
Edit: more details have come out. Besides the tanks and HAWKs, we are sending:
