Yes, it is cowardice to yield to a bully. Did bullies take your lunch money in grade school?

Did you attempt to negotiate with them? Bullies don’t negotiate, they take.

If you’re for endlessly giving Raytheon, Boeing, and corrupt Russian oligarchs and do nothing else, then yes, you are a warmonger. Warmongering isn’t about war, it’s about money.

This is 1/3 part hilarious and 2/3 parts sad. Hard to believe they even took the time to store equipment that obsolete. We melted shite down that old to be repurposed but the Russians just stick it in a warehouse in Siberian hell somewhere and drag it out throw some WD-40 on it and good as new. Also I’m surprised that 70 year old trench digger hasn’t found a HIMARS rocket yet.

Maybe I’d take a different tactic than outright fighting. Again, nothing but sanctions and money. That’s all we’ve done. Russia’s not going to surrender. Even the White House isn’t thinking this insanity of your little fantasy land.

Yep sorry but I’m calling bullshite on that! If the U.S. were invaded the last thing you would do was fight back. You would either try to cross the border somewhere, hide in your doomsday bunker or attempt to join the other side to avoid reprisals.

They can most certainly win. Russia can’t. They have most of the world against them. They’re losing far more that the war in Ukraine.

This is just like arguing with drunkest person ever. Anything outside of the propaganda you just blindly dismiss it.

Damn right. They didn’t attack Russia and now they have the Orcs in retreat. Plus, they have the backing of the West. Yes, Ukraine gets to dictate the terms and there really is only one - Russia gets the hell out of Ukraine.

Not going to happen.

Clearly you’re confusing warmongering with moneymongering

Russia already is and almost certainly will be a loser as a result of this war.

We need to? Negotiate what? With whom? I’m certain the US is willing to be part of a peace negotiation on terms acceptable to Ukraine.

What terms do you think we should be seeking? What terms do you think Ukraine should accept? Russia?

Eh. Why waste a precious HIMARS rocket on something that'll probably be broken down within a week anyway?

As we all know, one lane of the Kerch road bridge is open for cars, but trucks now have to use the ferry. quote:According to Russian-appointed head of Crimea, waiting at the ferry crossing in Crimea takes about 3-4 days. Ukraine can’t stand many more losses like this.

The truth is that Russia has already “lost” the war in numerous substantive ways but it is also true that Russia’s annexation of the occupied areas of Kherson, Zap, Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts (and obviously Crimea) is a fait accompli recognized under Russian law and Russia simply does have the means to enforce the annexation militarily. Note that Russia may continue to advance in Donetsk and may take back lost territory in Kherson but Russia will never take and I don’t think even actually claims Zaphorzhzhia city region so that will remain Ukraine. Basically, there will be a negotiated peace after a lot of bloodshed and destruction and Russia will get its land bridge to crimea and Ukraine will get western riches and life will go on.

Xarkov Oblast is historically Russian and will remain under the control of Ukraine indefinitely. That is a huge win for Ukraine and loss for Russia. Odessa is historically a Russian area also that I don’t think Russia will ever get back so that is also a win for Ukraine.

No, warmongering is a more sadistic version of money mongering.

you are talking to someone who "could get behind" a treaty that gave Russia control of everything east of the Dnieper

Well to be honest Russia already said they are willing to negotiate so long as Ukraine accepts all of their terms and gains nothing

That's disgusting because there is no winners in war. Unnecessary deaths all because of the Biden administration.

You can disagree with the above but to think we are not part of the cause of the war your an idiot.

Only morons think that Putin is totally at fault. Sad to see how blind and uneducated of the ways of the world there are in this thread.

Honest question; we've seen the Russian church get behind this invasion on an almost Crusade esque level. Was the Catholic church, or any of the more "Western" faiths even close to this in WWII or more recently?
