How long will it be until we see the Cossacks come riding across the plains into Ukraine?
What you think the Russian Cossacks will look like storming into battle:
What Russians Cossacks actually look like storming into battle after years of graft and corruption (the boombox was clearly looted from some poor Ukrainian kid)

I thought this was an interesting picture, reminds me of pictures I've seen of WW1 battlefields.

New sat images. The heavy artillery duels & massive Russian missile attacks in eastern Ukraine are just destroying the landscape. These are craters in a field northwest of Slovyansk, seen on June 6. Gives you a sense of the number of shells being lobbed. It's nonstop. ??:

How is Ukraine able to afford all of this?
Aid through the West, mostly.
One could also ask the same question to Russia though.
How is this worth it to Russia again?

Cossacks were from Ukraine and Beloruss. They kept Ukraine independent for a short time until 1920/21

Putain cannot have his Russian Empire without owning Ukraine. This is costing a LOT more than Putain intended it to for Russia but he doesn't give a frick. Heck he already lost two military arms contracts, one with India, after seeing how crappy his weapons systems are

Well I’ll be. Everything you think you love about Russia turns out to be Ukraine.

Looks like Russia is crowdfunding support equipment for its Jet squadrons with off the shelf stuff from China.

Looks like the Ukies are retreating XD If by retreating you mean moving towards Kherson LINK quote: Ukrainian forces launched a successful counter attack on the town of Blahodatne, Russians fled the town and are retiring to positions closer to the city of Kherson.
More importantly the Ukrainians are getting close to the main road and rail connection from Crimea and Kherson.

Bayraktar TB2 munition upgrade is in the works. Maybe Ukraine can help with the field testing.
Turkey starts mass production of Bozok munition for Bayraktar TB2 UAV

That was a German client state. Berlin created it as a buffer and a way to deal with the Bolsheviks, who they belatedly worried would pose a threat to Germany.
