I mean here is a simple one, go find someone who farm's and ask them about fertilizer and then get back to me about no impact on our lives.

You’re a schmuck you know that? There’s absolutely no moral reason anyone can side with Putin and what he is doing.

Why do I have to side with anyone? It’s a regional fight that will have minimal impact on America no matter which way it goes. Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union for 70 years and didn’t affect America one iota.
This war couldn’t go any better from my point of view. The Russian military is getting wrecked and showing themselves to be a complete paper tiger. The Ukraine regime that is laundering money for our political class just might get run out of town. I’m not rooting for anyone. This is like watching Capone and the Bugs Moran gangs fight it out for Chicago. I hope they both kill one another and keep our kids and our money out of there.

Of course, I'm hoping U kicks R's butt and embarrasses them on the world stage, but I can't help we are giving money to a government that is run by the mafia. Of course, ours is run by Pedocrats, but it is our money.

The audio book is also very good.

I don't wade into ad hominem lightly but that has to be one of the most moronic tone-deaf sentences I have read in quite some time. There is no use discussing anything with someone so divorced from reality.

It's on a forum, in an open topic board, in a thread about the war in Ukraine. If people making posts about the war, in the thread on the war in Ukraine, on the open topic board, of a forum, upsets you to the point that your anger prompts you to verbally chastise them for it...then for your own mental health I really hope you will just stop reading it.

Mental health is a very unaddressed problem in our country.

There is zero evidence this Ukrainian administration has laundered any money for the “elites”. That is just the Q tards throwing crap against the wall. There was some evidence of corruption and financial frickery in the previous regimes but that doesn’t mean they deserve to be invaded and brutalized by an even more corrupt government in Russia

Right now the situation around Popasna, in Luhansk appears the most concerning for Ukrainian forces. Russian troops have dedicated a lot of effort to that axis, and have apparently been able to break through quite far into Ukrainian lines.

Ukrainian resistance has crumbled there. One report put the Russians as far west as the outskirts of Soledar.

This is serious for the Ukrainians. There are up to 20,000 men in the eastern side of the salient.

It’s a civil war.

Lenin created modern Ukraine, taking the Imperial Russian governorates of the region, drawing them together to establish the Ukrainian SSR.

Stalin would later add eastern Poland to it.

This was not a process that respected history, or demographics, which is why we’re here now, it created a state with a profound cultural split. Part of the country, especially Galacia and the region that was Poland, look west. Much of the East, areas dominated by ethnic Russians, don’t.

You could see that split it in the voting maps in the 90s and 2000s, national election maps split the country in two, along geographic lines.

It was a map that didn’t make sense to anyone but the Bolsheviks, who wanted to reduce the Russian SSR, and the threat of Russian nationalism, and who wanted to ensure the loyalty of the Soviet Unions minorities through economic and political patronage.

I’m broadly in favor of self determination, and if eastern Ukraine wants to be free of their cousins in the west. They should have the right.

NATO expansion was also stupid, and the direct trigger for the war. Without it, and our meddling in Ukraine’s domestic politics, the war never would have happened. They would have continued to coexist in the same state, perhaps not happily, but peaceably at least.

I also find the Ukrainians savagery repulsive, which makes me less sympathetic to them.

Nah man, I’ve admitted like three times in this thread that I was wrong about who would win this war and how it would go and I’ve outright stated like three times that I’m glad Ukraine is winning. This thread has basically turned into a LSU/Bama game thread on the SECrant. The amount of homerism on both sides is pretty annoying.

This thread is pro Ukraine and the Poliboard is pro Russia. I haven’t made a single pro Russian post in this thread yet most in probably think I’m a “Putin fanboy” because I don’t cheer like a 16 year old girl for Ukraine. It’s all pretty gay and sovereign

as opposed to your boy, Putin, who leveled city blocks for personal gain? How do you feel about that savagery? Laughable.

The Russians aren’t doing anything new, it’s just attrition taking its toll on the Ukrainians.

I guess I'm a bit confused about your "the people who keep this thread going by posting updates are a bunch of women" point.

I'm not sure what else you expected to find in a thread about the war.
