Why would anyone want to turn on the lights and wake themselves up even more just to pee in the middle of the night?

I don't have to turn on my lights to make it to the bathroom Do yall not know your own home that well and just stumbling around stubbing your toe constantly or something?

Pulling my boxers down, turning around, sitting on a cold seat, and standing back up would wake me up more than what I'm doing now.

That thread was definitely more hostile to the "keep it running" crowd

Not really a man thing, you just don't need to turn it off

Porsche killing off manual transmission in most of their 911's. (I've driven manual for many many years it's overrated. Especially in commuter traffic)

This is one that I’ll never understand. I get some people might like to (for whatever reason), but manual making a dude more masculine?

All you’re doing is choosing to do something yourself that cars are perfectly capable of doing for you. Again, if one enjoys that, rock on. But thinking that makes a guy more of a man is like telling him he needs to hand crank his windows.

Obviously. In the last decade every vehicle built weighing less than two tons is a glorified minivan and everything heavier runs on a battery or a v-6.

Kinda on topic but it always gets me a little riled when I am going hunting or fishing with someone and they show up with brand new most expensive shite ever made yet they don’t know shite about hunting or fishing. I think it’s a douche move.

You can buy all the Shimano Stella’s on 500 rods and 2000 dollar Bernalli shotguns or rifles with 2500 scopes, and Stika clothes etc you want but it will not make you a good or respected outdoorsman. It’s like they go to nice sporting good store and say give me all the most expensive shite I can buy. They love to whip all that shite out in a douche like fashion like look at me I am a real boy now

Im not talking about making it to the bathroom...im talking about turning the light on to see the toilet so I don't pee all over the place before I hear it hit water.

Apparently having your mom call in to your office to tell them you aren't coming to work isn't very manly.

Never have I ever kept my engine on while at the pump. Never. And I can't recall seeing it, though I'm sure a time or two it may have happened.

I don’t understand why anyone would do it. Do they leave it running overnight?

I actually said, "older men with enlarged prostates may benefit in sitting". Nice omission.
