Las Vegas - Rooms with a view of the strip for each hotel? Recommendations?

Looking to go to Las Vegas this weekend because the prices are good and weather is nice.
Every hotel though has so many different style rooms though. I am just looking for middle tier with a view of the room.
Right now I am leaning towards the Octavius or Augustus at Caesar's, but I'm not positive I will get a strip view.

The type of room isn't going to guarantee you a view unless you are going top dollar. Calling and asking for what you want will.

Went back in 2013 for a bachelor party. We aren't OT ballers so we stayed in TI to save money, but we did pay a little more for the strip view room. Loved it. Had a great time and a great view. If you are looking to save money it's a great option.

The palazzio is all suites and all floor to ceiling views of the strip. I liked it a whole lot and it connects to the venetian.
It was much nicer then the mgm grand which is the only other place ive stayed.

at Caesar's,
I was severely unimpressed by the accommodations at Caesar's when I stayed there. The Palazzo is as are the Wynn and Encore...but pricier as well. The Monte Carlo is a rather nice place priced lower than many of the others. It's further south down the strip, but still on the strip...right next to the Aria Resort complex, NY,NY and basically across from the MGM Grand.

WIfe and I stayed at TI a few weeks ago with a strip view. Could see the fire show at Mirage, and the top of the Bellagio water show, as well as the whole strip. No complaints, and wasn't too expensive at all.
If I ever go back, i'd stay at Cosmopolitan.

Cosmo - balcony rooms with strip or fountain views
Aria - Sky Villas - entire wall of windows

Check out Cosmo. They have some cool balconies overlooking the strip.

I'm with GeauxColonels. I like Monte Carlo. It's not great but not horrible and reasonably priced. But it backs up to Aria and you can take a quick tram to Bellagio. Also NY, NY right next door.
When I do Vegas, I like to hit a LOT of places. Getting back and forth between is always the challenge. Regardless of distance, every cab ride is 50 bucks.
Venetian is my favorite, but it's isolated.

This is bad information. I took numerous cabs in Vegas and I thought they were a good deal. Airport to Mid strip is like 15 bucks...

Well, I'm exaggerating/generalizing of course, but with tip, it seems like all the cab rides end up at $50.
Maybe I'm just too drunk to remember accurately!

Put a $20 in between you credit card and driver's license when you hand them to the clerk checking you in and then ask them if it's possible to get what you just said. It works more often than not.

I went to nearly every hotel last week, and I really think I like the Cosmo the best.

Did a corner suite at Cosmo with a view of the strip and the Aria City Center. Or you could choose the other side and get a view of the strip and the Bellagio fountain.

I had a suite a Vdara in City Center which is in the same complex as Aria and it had a gorgeous view of the Bellagio fountains. I would post a picture but unfortunately you can see my dick in the reflection of the windows.

Did the cabbie take you through the tunnel? That's probably why it was expensive.

Caesars is too big and spread out. Cosmopolitan has the best room with a view and it has a balcony overlooking the strip/fountains. In dozens of trips that is my favorite room. Terrible casino but awesome room. And very affordable.
