Seems like this could be a bad decision
You do realize that this means just the neon and other decorative lights on the buildings are going dark. The street lights, sidewlks, etc. Will all still be lit. It's not like they are shutting down the entire grid on the strip.

One odd thing about Spirit is that they charge you more if you do anything at the airport (boarding pass, check bag, etc) rather than online, but the ticket is cheaper if you buy it at the airport counter vs buying online. Makes no sense

Last Vegas to Houston flight I paid more for my bag to fly in the cargo hold than my arse in the seat. Round trip $52 for me and $80 for my bag.

When my brother in law was moving we checked into a hotel in California, of all places, with four long rifles in obvious rifle cases without even garnering a second glance from hotel staff. It's not out of the ordinary
