Stayed in Planet Hollywood in 2013. Half of the hotel has a strip view. No extra charge.

The TI is at the bend in the strip and offers great views and has decent pricing for rooms as well..

The only correct answer in this thread, and I can't believe no one has said this in two pages, is who gives a frick about the view? It's Vegas. If you spend more than four hours a night in your room you are doing it wrong. And two of those hours are supposed to be spent fricking and snorting coke off of a showgirls arse with the curtains closed because you didn't get back to the room until sun up. 90 minutes sleeping and thirty minutes showering/getting ready to go back out. Repeat.

Have gone several times and always get a great deal on priceline name your own price. No guarantee of the strip view, but you can probably get a better hotel for less money. Stayed at the Trump a few weeks back for $90

Cosmo - balcony rooms with strip or fountain views

Aria - Sky Villas - entire wall of windows
this. I would throw encore/wynn corner suites in as well for ~250/night iirc

Mandalay Bay probably is my favorite view because there is nothing behind it, everything is infront of you

But Cosmo has the balconies

We're going in March and have a balcony overlooking the Bellagio fountains, but I really want the wraparound suite. Was thinking of trying the sandwich with a $50 or $100 bill instead of a $20, but don't want to give it up and not get the room. Or have a $100 hanging out of my wallet on the counter. Need to do some research on the best method.

Stayed at Bellagio on our honeymoon and had a lake front suite. Not gonna lie, that was one of the nicest experiences I've ever had- music choreographed with the dancing waters. Andrea Bocelli and Frank Sinatra in time with the fountains is legit. Made for some excellent sexy time too

I was actually going to post the same thing, but I do realize that I'm from Los angeles which is a short drive away and I'm in Vegas multiple times a year. I personally have zero interest in paying an extra penny for a better view, but for some of you guys that might do a Vegas trip only a couple times in your life it makes sense.

I'm staying at the Hilton elara as we speak in Vegas. It's 56 floors and one of the best Hilton properties I've stayed at my life. I'm a diamond elite member so Ive been to a ton.

It's also relatively cheap. Woild highly recommend and only a 3-4 minute walk to the strip. If you can get a room in a high floor you can see the entire city.

Eta: I recommend it because it's cheap. If I had my choice I wpold prefer Cosmo, Wynn, encore, etc.

Cheapest one possible! You are never in your room in Vegas anyway except to pass out and shower so what does it matter?
