I'm for legalizing it but explain this. Give me a breakdown of how the police get money from weed arrests. Where it comes from and where it goes.

Dealer has cash on them obviously, all deals are cash. Police officers making arrest take some of the cash and put it in their pockets. Police officers profit. The end

Fun fact: all cannabis deals are cash. Dispensaries can’t accept debit or credit cards because banks will not accept money from those sales because it’s not federally legal.

I contacted my reps with my support for this bill. THe medical marijuana program is a fricking joke!! I can only buy oils (Rick Sipson Oil Syringe) and tinctures. Neither work particularly well. On my last trip, the dispensary did sell me a vape pen to use with the RSO. It works better than putting it under the tongue but it is very harsh and causes almost constant coughing. I cant buy edibles like gummies because they don't have any.
I feel that with legalization the choices for medical marijuana will be greatly expanded. It seems our backward-arse legislature is extremely afraid that someone may accidentally get high from the medical products.

Just my 2 cents

Interesting. Ours can’t. Assumed that was nationwide. Where do you go?

True the La GOP has more important issues to virtue signal about like banning the approximately 5 transgender kids who want to play sports

Not a client of ours. That’s what I was trying to figure out. Im fairly positive everyone we work with only accepts cash. But I could be wrong about that.

No they won't, not yet at least

I know of one representative in particular who plans to vote yes because, get a load of this, his constituents want it passed. By a significant margin. Republican in a fairly conservative district. I’m not ready to say we are at the tipping point, but this makes me think we are much closer than ever before.

I hope they pass it. There are way too many people in prison or jail because of weed. It won't spring those people loose, but it'll at least help stop the flow of people getting into the penal system because they got rung up for toting around two joints.
