Cuomo says NYC folks aren’t listening either. People are hard headed.

Everything that he is talking about happening in the NYC parks yesterday won’t show up for at least 12 more days (5 days to get the infection, average of 7 days for lung issues to worsen)

me neither. and not just because of the people "not listening"

you want to talk about political will? who has the will to shut down society for 4.5 months?

I think the only goal is to slow things down enough to buy time to augment our healthcare system. In my completely unqualified opinion, there's simply no way to completely kill this thing with lockdowns at this point.

I don’t think society will listen and I definitely agree with the length of the policy being a problem.

OMG ShElTeR iN pLaCe

It’s not that big of a deal, been dealing with this over a week now. Now if the next directive comes down like some are expecting here tomorrow. Then shot will get real.

I got a letter from Gov Gavin Friday allowing me to be able to travel freely in CA but not sure how long that will last. Looking like I may be furloughed

If this was the end result (and it's likely not and will get worse), then this should have been the first policy enacted over a week ago, specifically in the area most likely to spread.

Trust me when I say that a week ago, when the test samples were being taken that are reflected in the present test results (5 to 7 days for confirmation), folks didn’t believe, just flat out refused to believe, that the situation had exploded the way it had.

Are you talking about the population or the government? Because I told you all a week ago it was about to explode in New Orleans

What I'm saying is the government had no excuse to be that ignorant

I know I said that there's no way we take this policy the whole way through as long as it is projected to take. Even if we cut it to 25% and it's four and a half months people will riot. They were trying to call me emotional for saying this because it's really easy to talk shite when you ignore the actual data and theories were using to justify these policies

Reports from ICU in Charity is that they are having some success and trying a lot of different things. Folks on ACE inhibitors are having significant issues, so this is a population which should be especially careful, although everyone should be. If there is a positive now is that they are gathering real data data and sharing information very rapidly.

Some people would complain if they got hung with a new rope.

On this board in particular, Trump is great, there is nothing to this or Trump sucks and should have done more.

Same for JBE.

Y'all make everything political regardless.

Make up your mind. We either have an issue with Corona or we don't. You choose.

I prefer to err on the side of caution if at all possible.

If some of your loved ones start dying from this mess what you gonna say then?
