This is how pathetic the OT has become. Basically every response to a post about a volcano is about politics or religion.

Yeah. But you have to learn how to get enjoyment out of it. Sure, the OT has morphed from the wild cousin who comes to Thanksgiving dinner a bit hung over with lots of fun but crazy stories about his partying to that tin-foil hat uncle that kind of creeps everybody out when he shows up for Thanksgiving dinner. But heck, even that uncle is good for a few laughs if you don't take him too seriously.

Hi Twitter, a reminder that this is what Krakatau (not Krakatoa, that's the wrong spelling) looks like. If you're shown footage with a large cone erupting that is from before it collapsed in late 2018. The big cone is gone. Easy fact check. 31 March 2020 PlanetScope image.

Oh Jesus let's not call it what 95% of the world calls it and virtue signal by using Indonesian

When will someone tell us what to call the Americas?

Surely naming it after an Italian isn't PC.

I wonder if we will hear the sound of the catastrophic eruption as it travels around the world several time? And I wonder if the tsunami will be as large as the one in the movie?

ELAINE: I remember you donated to some volcano thing on our first date.

JERRY: Volcano? Really?

ELAINE: Oh, wait a minute. Don't tell me that that was ...

JERRY: Something to drink?

ELAINE: What did you think, that would impress me?

JERRY: You got it ALL wrong. I was thinking only of the poor Krakatoans

ELAINE: Like you this donation for 50 bucks and I'd start tearing my clothes off?

JERRY: Those brave Krakatoans East of Java. who sacrifice so much for so long.

The particulate matter spewed by volcanoes which filters sunlight cause significant cooling.
