Lee's is what KFC used to be. That is the place to go. No idea if it's outside of Kentucky, I assume it is, but it's the superior fast food chicken option. Everyone goes on about Popeye's on here and I get it, it's a Louisiana board, and I do like Popeyes because it has that Louisiana flavor to it. But for all around just generic Southern fried chicken ie Church's, KFC, Bojangles etc......Lee's is the answer.

Also, Coke is far superior to Pepsi, even though I essentially don't drink soda at all anymore. It's just gross once you stop drinking it and realize how awful it is.

I don’t know what it is but Mountain Dew at a fast food place is crack cocaine out of a soda fountain. Slippery slope.

I thought KFC was part of the same conglomerate that owned Pepsi and Taco Bell which was why for awhile you were seeing dual KFC/Taco Bell locations which sold Pepsi products.

Maybe that changed?

Pepsi is good. Diet Mt Dew is the greatest beverage ever put on this planet. If God drinks soda, I bet its Diet Mt. Dew.

Pepsi is more popular than most folks think. The only reason Coke is always ahead in overall sales is because they have taken over most restaurant fountain business. Pepsi actually outsells Coke from time to time in just units of soda sold at retail stores.

Wow, that’s pretty interesting. Considering KFC was once owned by PepsiCo.

I have never met a person who prefers Pepsi over Dr. Pepper or Coke. It's trash tier soda.

This, 100%.

I don't eat KFC often, but every now and then I will because their famous mashed potato bowl is off the charts good. And it always bugs me that they have Pepsi products. But at least they always had DP.

I had no idea Mr Pibb was a Pepsi product. Why is it so oddly distributed?

Mr. Pibb is actually a Coca-Cola product

They made it to go against Dr. Pepper. Remember DP is not Coca-Cola. It’s a competitor

Pepsi is the sweeter of the two (containing more sugar/HFCS) and actually wins on overall taste tests when participants are doing just shots of it (the infamous Pepsi Challenge commercials from decades ago). The longer the time period they drink it (a single sitting), the less they drink of it over the longer term compared to Coke (or other drinks which are less sweet).

A friend owns several restaurants and my husband prefers Coke. When the restaurants changed to Pepsi, she explained that Pepsi paid them 5K for each restaurant to change to Pepsi.
