The end of an era, even tho I don't drink soda anymore.

Some food just goes with a certain drink. For me, when I partook, it was KFC with a Pepsi or Mountain Dew.

Coke goes with Domino's for me.

I have never met a person who prefers Pepsi over Dr. Pepper or Coke. It's trash tier soda.

I try not to drink too much soda anymore because it’s poison, but I never understood the hate for Pepsi

I always assumed it was a southern thing to hate on it

Coke, Pepsi, and RC are all equally good to me

Does this include Taco Bell? I thought they were all part of the same company with Pepsi

Maybe it's a Texas thing? Nobody I knew drank Pepsi. We did have neighbors that moved from Starkville and they brought a bunch of Mr. Pibb.

Mt Dew was popular and my grandmother loved 7up. So, it's not the line of Pepsi products, just Pepsi. Tried Pepsi Cherry once and even that could not mask that horrible taste.

No, just KFC. Mountain Dew Baja Blast is the most popular drink at Taco Bell. Their customers would riot if that happened. Yes, they are both part of Yum Brands.

Makes no sense for any restaurant to ditch Mountain Dew for any other beverage.

My grandmother was a staunch Dr. Pepper drinker, like it was Dr. Pepper, or nothing

Mr. Pibb might as well have been the devil

39g of sugar in a can of coke. Or 10 teaspoons of sugar.

Drinking straight diabetes. And there are people that drink several cans a day. Or that 32-44,oz big gulp from Circle K.

For Taco Bell fans, this was mentioned in the NY Post article on the KFC/Coke deal.

quote:

Yum Brands and PepsiCo just renewed agreements across Taco Bell and KFC International stores, a spokesperson for PepsiCo told Reuters. Taco Bell is a 10-year agreement, they said.

Moderation and exercise are key. Genetics, lack of exercise, and obesity are the main reasons a person gets type 2 diabetes. Hell, you can damage your pancreas and get type 3c diabetes.

I prefer to get my carbs from delicious starches like bread and potatoes. So, I stick with Sprite Zero Sugar.

I haven't eaten from KFC in many years.
The taste is still good.
But the shrinkflation is beyond tolerance. The sides just aren't enough to be worth the price.

But Pepsi originated in North Carolina. It's Southern too. I very seldom drink a carbonated soda -- and still call all of them a "coke" -- but I don't have a problem with any of those three.

I've only been to a KFC maybe 5 times in my life. Last time I tried going to the one in Gonzalez and they were out of everything, all the drinks, most of the food.

I told them 30-ish years ago that Pepsi is nasty and they should switch to Coke. While I seldom drink soda anymore, it is good to know they are finally learning to listen to their customer base.

Maybe Bud light can learn a little something from this.
