two a days in August were a welcome break from my summer job working construction
ETA: I'm not saying any of that was right, I'm just saying that that's the way it was back then, if you wanted it bad enough you'd take it, regardless, we were a tougher breed, and the generations before us were even tougher, I played a couple of years in college and a couple after, workouts/practices in college were like going to a health spa compared to high school

Coach needs to be strapped to a chair and beaten and starved for a few days and then solitary confinement for 20 years.

I did 3 a days in August. In 2010. I also had a summer job. No one in my area died from 2010-2014 competing in sports. Not killing kids is objectively better than killing kids.

Any coach that is still doing this Water is for the Weak bullshite should be made to run until he has to beg for water.
It is contrary to all sports science to limit water intake. It is the old "your weak you need to harden up" mantra. You won't find any professional sports team that limits water because they know full well it reduces performance and quality of training. I will say just drinking water can be a negative too, you need to have a proper balance of electrolytes, and depending on the length and intensity you may need no sugars or a fair amount.
There is no positive to withholding hydration during practice except maybe the false impression you are training harder and can perform better.

I wonder what his vaccination status was? If he had a stroke?

Those two coaches look like insufferable jackasses. What a couple of losers. Hope they get some jail time.

Yeah, but back then those dead kids didn't whine about it like a bunch of pussies.
