If I remember correctly, this broad said one of the first things Frank did was make a move for her backdoor.

Read up about Frank Gifford having a slam pad in NYC and using it with Johnny Carson's second wife. Carson found out and went there with a cop/private investigator friend they somehow broke in and Carson saw all of his old furniture they had recently replaced in the apartment

I read the account in the book it was more detailed I just linked the article as a reference since I can't link the passage in the book.
1. Carson was paying for the apartment unbeknownst to him.
2. He saw the furniture and it made him mad
The book goes into much more detail.
