Karl Malone is straight up trash. I was also reading he’s been buying up land near the bayou with the intent of changing the laws to allow him to own the waterways which would allow him to strip the trees
I also read that on Reddit. People really like to hate on rich. No mention that he could be in Utah right now enjoying life not having to read this drool. He’s in Louisiana, trying to provide jobs and make it a better state. Shame on him for trying.

I was @LaTech when he was. The stories of how poor and all the social accolades he got were all BS.
He tooled around campus in a Mercedes Sport Coupe convertible sporting a Mister T kit that’d make T jealous. He didn’t think he needed to stop for students crossing the street either.

He grew up poor, my mom lived not far from him. I’ve seen his house he grew up in, trust me, they weren’t well off at all. As far as accolades in college I don’t know. He was raised by a single mom with iirc 10 kids on a farm

To me, a misdemeanor isn't "getting very far." He couldn't have gotten a felony conviction here.
What states have misdemeanor sex crimes vs juveniles

his is something else people have to realize. This happened around 1982-83. That’s kind of late for something like that, but smaller towns around the south had this sort of stuff happening well into the 60’s pretty regularly. In a small town back then the bigger issue would have been getting pregnant out of wedlock than the age issue.
This is 100% true. I graduated from HS in 1979 and am from not to far from there. I had 15 year old friends dating guys in their 20s. Fairly common. Also, people didn’t look at teens the same then. Teens were kind of mini adults.

Even today he likely would just pay a fine for this

I bet he votes democrat and loves Disney World
I seriously doubt this. He retired from basketball and became a truck driver. He is a hunter. All signs point to not this.
As for as this situation when he was 20. This was in what? 83, 84? He was 20, there are 13 year olds who look a lot older. Im not excusing the behavior at all, but if he was a true pedo it would likely be an ongoing problem.
Today he wouldn't get a pass, but factoring in it was the early 80s and it seems this was a one time thing.. He was 20. People are still stupid at 20.. He gets a pass with an *.
