Malone refused to pay child support until the RAPED 13 year

I read once that they set the child support at $200.00 a month or some such based on the fact that he was a poor student.

Once he got NBA money they sued for additional money based on his income and he told them to pound sand.

Now he's a Hero in Ruston

It only matters if the parents(who probably were just stellar examples of parenting) care according to some

Nope

They didn’t bring him to court until 1986, with him in the Nba. And they asked for $200 and he said he didn’t have the money

The judge ordered $125 and Malone still refused to pay and was almost arrested, and at that time his attorney and the family came to an agreement

I guess Im different

Oh I think rapists should be put to death. Absolutely.

We're talking about statutory rape here. Even today he likely would just pay a fine for this if the family isn't willing to pursue charges. What exactly do y'all think would have happened in the early 1980s?

So 13 years old to you isn’t rapey enough

When does it become real rape for you? 12? 10? 8 still just a little no big deal mix up if the “child wanted it” and parents aren’t mad?

Yes, but without a person claiming to be a victim they wouldn't get very far.

I mean, there is a reason we distinguish between statutory rape and actual rape. They definitely are not the same things. Are you of the delusion that they could have charged him with a felony here?

Dude, she had his baby. They don’t need anything from the victim. They have absolute proof he raped her

So still statutory rape if a democrat groomer has sex with a 10 year old boy that wanted it? No big deal if the boys parents are purple haired freaks who are ok with it?

I never said they couldn't have gotten a conviction.

You said “the DA wouldn’t get very far”

The DA had a slam dunk 100% in the bag case.

In my view, that shouldn't be a statutory rape situation.

Maybe Karl Malone's case shouldn't have been a statutory rape situation either...but it is. That's what it is. Do you really think he would have caught a felony for this in the early 1980s?

To me, a misdemeanor isn't "getting very far." He couldn't have gotten a felony conviction here.
