I mean we know from the last trial that the jury was apparently all in agreement on some charges but split on others.

We've watched a good chunk of the trial and there's more than enough evidence for reasonable doubt based on the evidence but I think this one is more of a setup. I think the jury finds her guilty of a lesser charge.

I think she's not guilty.

Not Guilty. FKR.

Agreed, but I also said the same thing last trial. I honestly have no idea what I think the verdict will be other than the fact that I think there is a 0% chance she is found guilty of murder.

Why in the world is Lally doing this argument?

So the jury doesn't have to hear Hank's voice?

There is always a 5% to 10% chance of catching a guilty verdict just by virtue of being in the defendant's chair.

But yea -- there is no way they can find guilty on murder. There is no support for that.

Frankly, the CW did not prove that OJO was even hit by the Lexus so it should be an easy clean sweep NG on all counts in a sane, just world.

Sadly, this court and county are corrupt as shite, so it won't be that easy.

I think there's proof that he was not hit.

Agree completely. My comments are just from the point of view that the defense doesn't have to prove OJO was NOT hit but rather that the CW did not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that OJO WAS hit by the Lexus.

If OJO is not hit by the Lexus then we are done and the CW theory and house of cards come crashing down.

All the other commentary about shady investigation and Proctor being shady and Jen lying are irrelevant if OJO is never hit by the Lexus.

the defense is still worried about the formatting of the jury slip, and the judge doesn't seem willing to make any changes to the jury slip at all.

The state wants to argue the fact that Karen moved her Lexus from John's house to her parents house as a consciousness of guilt. Of course the judge replies, "I'm going to allow that".

At least state your case. Why do you think this?

This may be one of the dumbest things I have read on this site and that's saying a lot.

I don't have to state my case. The question was what are you all thinking and I answered that.
I read all the time on TD that women are crazy. Why is this situation so hard to believe? There really seems no other reasonable explanation.

She will not be found guilty but that's what I think.

Surely this is a troll. Yes. All women are crazy and every time someone drives drunk they mow someone down in reverse throwing a body 20 feet and sustaining dog bites to their arms. How silly of us to even have a trial.

Because you have never said what convinced you that the vehicle made contact with the body. You just seem to want to find her guilty because she's crazy and was drunk. That's like 70 IQ shite right there.

I believe Brennan is covering his own arse. It’s my opinion he canceled the rebuttal case because calling welcher and Hartnett to the stand could get into misconduct on his part.

Welcher may have testified that Brennan didn’t give him X-rays or OJO right arm.

Hartnett may have testified that they discussed her taking the clippings from the hoodie in testimony prep meetings.

Then today Lally handles all of the argument for charges and Brennan is just sitting silent at the table.

Did they do a blood test to prove this?
