Has anyone ever had so many people rooting against them for the simple fact the person is a decent human being? I mean seriously, Tebow is not a wife beater, drunk, whatever. He is simply a nice guy open about his Christian faith and for that he has a ton of people rooting against him.

I've always liked him, even when he was at Florida I liked playing against him because he made the games more fun. Had a fun rivalry going on cause of him.

It’s Biblically accurate. There is a certain “movie script” that has to play out before all this can end. I hope me saying “movie script” isn’t blasphemous but my hs educated self can’t be more poetic about it. I’m happy to see the Biblical signs of birth pains showing up. I’m of the opinion enough is enough and the actors in that movie script need to get on with it already.

When the scandal at Penn St. went down, I was genuinely hurt. I really respected and admired Joe Paterno. This might be dramatic, but it felt like a friend died when I learned that he knew about Sandusky’s abhorrent behavior. It really jaded my view about people.

Such a stupid point of view. No one wants to see LSU beat our rivals more than I do, but to personally dislike someone because of his alma mater is childish.

Who the frick hates Tim Tebow?

I’m not even remotely religious and I admire the heck out of that dude.

He walks the walk and isn’t an attention whore for any of it.

Bruh, he would actually kneel down on the football field and pray after a touchdown

It was probably his way of spreading his faith more than “look at me! Look at me!”.

It was awful when he kneeled. Just like Kaep.

Kaep knelt during the anthem because he hates Amerixa,.

Tebow knelt in prayer after games, like many players before and after. Sounds like you fell for a Facebook hoax.

When he was at Florida and in the NFL I rooted against him. The coverage was too over the top and guys like Verne Lundquist just talked about him all the time. Couldn't even watch other SEC games without Tebow Tebow Tebow.

Since he started baseball I've been a huge fan. Always cool to witness top athletes switching sports and working their way up.

I hope he makes the majors even if it's just for a brief time.

Also don't really know that many people that root against him. I know tons of people who claim that everyone hates him for his values but don't know anyone that actually does.

No. Not the same. Does this really need an explanation?

Why would they beat and hang an innocent man on a cross?

If they hated Him, they’ll hate Tim, or anyone who tries to live likewise.

you agree with the reason he kneels but not the other? that's the only real difference.
