Just watched the Tim Tebow video on home page

I clicked on the video of Tebow striking out on the front page and got to thinking:
Has anyone ever had so many people rooting against them for the simple fact the person is a decent human being? I mean seriously, Tebow is not a wife beater, drunk, whatever. He is simply a nice guy open about his Christian faith and for that he has a ton of people rooting against him.

Agreed he is a god dude, but he does kind of flaunt it, which makes people resent him.

He's not asking the media to cover him in whatever he does. And if they ask him about his life, he mentions his faith, because it's a big part of who he is. It's not like he's calling press conferences to preach the good word.

Good guy great athlete great role model but a terrible baseball player. The Mets are using him as a circus side show to sell some tickets. He’s hitting .153 has struck out 55 times in 131 at bats. He has 22 hits in those 131 at bats so he’s struck out twice as many times as he’s gotten a hit. The gig is up it’s time he goes to the sec network full time where he’s a rock star at what he does. That or go to a independent league because it’s a joke that he’s in the minors much less triple A .
