Started about 10:00. Fire trucks everywhere. Huge kitchen fire.

SAMMY'S PRAIRIEVILLE NEWS UPDATE:
We never imagined we’d be sharing another difficult update so soon.
Last night, an electrical fire caused extensive damage to our Prairieville location. (37306 Perkins Rd in Prairieville) Thankfully, no one was hurt, and for that we are incredibly grateful.
We want to extend our sincere gratitude to the firefighters and first responders for their swift response, professionalism, and tireless efforts to contain the fire and minimize further damage. We are truly thankful for everything you do.
At this time, Sammy’s Prairieville will be closed until further notice as we assess the damage and determine our next steps.
After an already emotional week with the closure of our Highland location, this is another heartbreaking challenge. We are so thankful for the love, prayers, and support from our incredible community. Your kindness means the world to us.
We’ll share updates as we have them, both here on our FB page as well as Ascension social media outlets. Thank you for standing with the Sammy’s family

We passed in front of there the other day and my wife asked “how much longer you think they’ll stay open?”

Grand opening, grand closing

Holy shite. I know one of the managers there.

This is definitely fishy with the Highland one closing a few days ago.

Some places have it happen regularly.

A place called Chesterfield’s in Hattiesburg had it happen repeatedly, at least once when the bar had just been cleaned out the night before of all liquor.

They eventually sold that land to a drug store to build a new location. Even the rubble of Chesterfield’s caught on fire after demolition.
